Champion Eyes — Restaurant in Oaxaca

Went for lunch originally and was somewhat dissapointed in the sushi as the rice was kinda dry and overall the service was mediocre, however ended up going back for dinner because the prices werent bad and everywhere else was pretty full. My family ordered sushi again, i did not because i didnt want to be dissapointed again. However we had a different waiter this time (Luis) he was spot on with everything and was very good! Also the rice on my family's sushi wasnt dry this time and i had the Terriyaki the second time and it was also very good! Overall our second experience with them was much better than the first and would recommend over the other sushi place...

Samurai Sushi & Sake es uno de los mejores restaurantes de comida japonesa que he visitado en la ciudad. Llegué sin muchas expectativas y sin embargo me dejó gratamente sorprendido. El lugar está muy bien decorado, el ambiente es muy agradable, el mobiliario cómodo y el personal muy amable. Inicié mi experiencia con una entrada de kushiages de camarón que estaban excelentes, con una consistencia crocante y un sabor delicioso, de cortesía me dieron también uno de queso manchego exquisito. Soy muy fan del tempura y decidí pedir un rollo de esta categoría con camarón y aguacate. La presentación, la preparación y el sabor del platillo es la más destacada que he visto en cualquier restaurante de sushi de Oaxaca. Como acompañamiento pedí una naranjada, algo dulce a mi gusto pero que no agrede al paladar. En conclusión los alimentos, el servicio, lugar y precios que manejan le dan todo el derecho de sus primeras...

The staff was super friendly and I could ask for a few extra wishes without any problems. The sushi (vegan and with salmon) was very delicious. The broccoli in the tempura was not enough fried so the dough was row in some parts but the rest was fine. I would definitely recommend to eat...
