Cute café that's been on everyone's lips for a while now, for good reason. This place is - as my dining companion put it - a restaurant 'without walls', so it has a very outdoorsy feel, even if you're sitting under the roof. A relaxed vibe (maybe a bit heavy on the background jazz) with very palatable and straightforward dishes - quiche, omlette, salad 🥗 that sort of thing. Coffee was alright but served in a rather naff cup and saucer (something you might find in a 1990s German buffet) but whatever, none of that takes away from this cute place with good food and not outrageous prices. ( Picture taken after initial drink) The sweet and salty plate included French toast with syrup, scrambled eggs, bacon, and fried potatoes. The spinach omelette included fried potatoes, black beans, and baguette toasts with butter on the side. The hibiscus kombucha was from Jamaica. We were also offered hot sauce, which we accepted. It was a perfect addition to our meal. Friendly staff, quick service, nice environment. They have a steady stream of clients from the time they open until closing. They serve breakfast and lunch. Read moreSimple, fresh, cute, cheap, large portions, wonderful cafe in beautiful Zipolite. My partner and I ate here 3x this week and we will miss the tuna salad on the baguette! A MUST try! 75 pesos for a large baguette with a fresh balsamic salad. Fresh pressed juices here are delightful and refreshing. The owner and staff are very warm and met us every morning with a smile with fast pleasant service and presentations. Would highly recommend the trek up the hill to this vibey cafe which is beside Gustavo's and across from CAMP. Ample parking for scooters/cars too. Thank you Orale for your hospitality! :-) We will return next time we pass through Zipolite.
