Nude Zipolite — Restaurant in Oaxaca

Walked past this place and saw a sign for 2 Pina Coladas for what I thought was $200. We decided to come back later and double checked with the waiter, 2x200 and I didn’t think she understood, but she said “si.” They were beautiful cocktails, hence a 2 star review and not lower. We decided to leave and on the bill it was $340 ($170 each). We told them about the sign and they said, oh that’s only till 5pm. We said it doesn’t say that and we checked with the server, but they wouldn’t accept us. They got the sign to prove to us, but they must have realized they made a mistake and the sign didn’t have times on it. Reading the sign more closely, it actually said 2 for 1, making the expected bill only $170 ($200 was for beers, but the sign looked liked it was for 2 Pina Coladas). It’s only a small amount extra, but as a principle we were right, but they still refused to honor their sign. As we would normally tip, they really missed out, we offered to pay what we thought the sign said ($200) or we will pay the $340 with no tip and leave a bad review, and yes as you can tell with this review they refused to honor their own sign. Disappointing stay at Nude Zipolite Hotel. The staff was not particularly welcoming: the daytime receptionist barely greeted us, with no smile or real friendliness.
