Nice hidden location. Agua del dia was watermelon and good. The service was good and the food surpassed my expectations. Tried a few dishes. All the dishes were plentiful. The "Caldo de Camaron" was piping hot and quite tasty with 3 large shrimp. The "Pasta Carbonara" could have been a little more flavorful, but i quickly ate the large bowlful with no complaints! Also has "Camaron de Diablo" which was mildly spicy and also the "Camaron Brandy" which was a bit strong on the brandy in which the brandy's alcohol had not fully cooked off yet. Nice cheap relaxed location under a huge tree. It's open only breakfast and lunch. It's basic and local with mexican food like taccos, seafood but also pasta. Prices are super cheap for this area. For two meals ( shrimp with 5 fat ones, rice, fries, veggies) and fish ceviche, as well as the Agua del dia for two (Jamaica) I only paid 260 pesos. Service is good, the friendly young girl does her best to attend to you. Just prepare bit of Spanish as they don't speak English. Excelente food, flavors & prices! We have traveling been in Mexico 7 weeks now and I must say this has been our favorite restaurant. We came 3x while in zipolite and it never disappointed. Both lunches & breakfasts are flavorful large portions. Agua del día was always delicious. Cute outdoor setting and a nice family ! Please note they do close for a break...
