Had an authentic tlayuda made traditionally on a charcoal grill with the typical tasajo and chorizo! Served alongside habanero and red chilli based salsas elevates the flavour. Service from the host was attentive, homely and friendly explaining the menu and recommending dishes and appropriate portion sizes (1 tlayuda can almost feed two people, it’s quite filling). From the street, it does not stand out but go for it. Ambiance is great in a traditionally decorated courtyard with plenty of seating.

had an awesome late dinner here one night. service was great, food was really tasty, and for $80mxn i got a tlayuda con tasajo. beer was $25mxn. it’s as good as 20 de Nov stands and the famous spot across town but this place is a bit more central and easy to get to from most hotels. service was friendly and it’s a great sit down option for what is basically a street food stand! definitely recommend checking out for a quick bite to share or in between mezcal hopping.

I decided to give this palce a try, since it's nearby. I purchased the tlayuda combinada, keep in mind there's tons of places in Oaxaca selling delicious talyudas, but what sets this apart to the others is their seasoning and salsa. The habnero salsa has a light kick of spiciness to it, making it worthy to try... that's if your into spicy food. Furthermore their service was fast and respectful, even the people around dining were so polite.

Best vegan tlayudas and friendliest tlayuderia staff in Oaxaca. The place is open only 3 days but they have inside seating which is so cute with candles and everything. They make everything fresh in front of you. The staff wears masks and face shields. The last vegan dish I had had cheese in it but here the chef said she not only uses no cheese (obviously) she also doesn't use lard in the pasta de frijoles. They give you a turnip with each tlayuda and their salsa -...
