XCAANDA la punta — Restaurant in Oaxaca

We came at night, it was a mistake, I think this would be a cool day beach spot potentially, though, if you have unlimited time and wanna just chill without buying too much as they literally forget ya. We both also speak fluent Spanish but service was just bad/slow. After seating us, 15 minutes to even talk to us, desculpe, but we already grabbed our own menus and chose food and drinks after waiting a few. A full 30 minutes after we ordered, ooops no more lomo de tuna can you order another thing, desculpe. Can I get some bottled water? Sure! (Never came), desculpe. Can I get a second drink? Sure! (Didn’t even bring the menu again). The food was 6/10 but small after waiting so long and us getting all hangry. Was decent arrachera and I actually thought the queso fundido was good, but seriously so small after being so hungry from waiting. There’s so many other spots at la punta, so if you’re choosing, choose yourself and go anywhere else to save you some time, unless it’s super busy and you just gotta be...

I'd avoid this place.

I went for dinner with my family one night and our order took close to an hour before we received it. The flavors and selections were ok at best. What Xcaanda charges is the beach views thus making their food more than they're worth! Plus when we were ready to pay the waitress, she stood there waiting for us to pull out our money to get paid which was awkward.

We decided to give them a second chance the following day for breakfast, it was the worse experience yet! The waiter sat us and another couple down about the same time. The couple got their order in just after we did and received their food within 30MIN. We waited to be served for 1 hour and 30min. The waiter was all around aloof. This review is for cielo beach club DO NOT GO WORST SERVICE EVER. I will say the incident wasn’t their fault but how they handled it was terrible. 3 stray dogs started fighting in the middle of the guests beach beds and they jumped on my bed and knocked my table over with drinks and my personal belongings were damaged not the beach clubs fault but they didn’t even bother to try to comp any of my drinks or help me pick up the mess or even bother apologizing for the bad experience. I had to speak to the manager to ask for the drinks that were spilled over to be removed from my bill and he laughed and told me it’s an open space that it’s not their fault, which is true but they didn’t even bother to help me or even seem apologetic for my...
