Parmigiano — Restaurant in Playa del Carmen

Food was good! Don’t trust those bad reviews, those were a year ago! Pizza was amazing, the calamari was okay (that’s where the -1 star is). The atmosphere is also really nice, definitely an Italian atmosphere. Kitchen is HUGE! It is really nice to see the cooks in action, the kitchen does the turn of the restaurant and is clean! Service is also good, our waiter was nice, a little impatient but we’re also a pretty slow crowd 😂. Honestly for an Italian restaurant in Mexico I was impressed, I would recommend to others!

thinking what to order? Try the pepperoni Pizza (extra cheese) and also try the Prosciutto pizza.

Stay away from the Calamari and the Cesar salad. Sauce is a little weird tasting. And the calamari is in a soft dough, not like you’re traditional...

Leo was our server, and he was friendly and spoke a little Spanglish with us at the table and was very attentive, he knew the menu from front to back. We both had chicken parm and my husband is a (former) red seal chef and he said they nailed it.
