the food was ok, but i had better sushi in PDC before. the portions were small. when we paid the tip was included in the bill (15%) in big letters, below was the amount without tip (small letters). i think this shouldn't be a thing at all. including the tip (without showing the amount without tip) is illegal for the record. trying to trick less aware customers into tipping twice is 'questionable', to say the least, already! we split the bill between the people i was with, and when i wanted to pay my part in cash, first the waiter said he can't give me the 10% discount (on cash payments) on my part, because the bill was partly paid with card already. then i asked for seperate bills as a workaround. he then got a calculator, and i paid in cash getting the discount. all in all we paid around 11-12% tip. then the waiter came back, claiming we didn't pay enough, and making some nonsensical statements in a very unfriendly manner. there was a big fuzz about it all, the waiter acted entitled to a bigger tip, when he should be happy to get a tip at all, especially after his behaviour. i actually wish i had taken my tip back now. all in all overpriced, and then this tip thing, which was totally absurd. him coming back after everything was settled, including a small dispute in the first place already, and then making a big scene out of it, was totally out of line! never experienced anything like this, honestly. a friend made a decent word-play on the name, you'll...
Read moreWow! This was the most amazing meal of all time. Every bite was perfection! We ordered mojitos and two appetizers to start. The vegetarian spring rolls and the shrimp tempura. Spring rolls were fabulous. The Tempura shrimp was out of this world delicious. High quality shrimp cooked to perfection. It came with some tempura veg mix too that was unlike anything we’ve ever eaten before. Sauces were all on point. For the main course; we got a second round of mojitos because they were great too, and we had the ramen and red curry with chicken. Being from Toronto, we have eaten our fair share of ramen and curry… but this was literally the best EVER! To top it all off, our server Aldo was the greatest. He was super friendly, professional, walked us through the specials. He spoke perfect English and Spanish. We’re both learning Spanish and he spoke clearly and at a pace we could comprehend. Any questions we had he was able to answer in English for us. He was super attentive at just the right times. Yes, you NEED to go here! Highly recommend. Cute ambiance too and comfortable seating. We also enjoyed a break from the heat inside with some air conditioning. Come here if you want a...
Read moreWe ordered take out, the food was expensive, flavorless, and the smallest portions I've ever seen here. We had to add spices ourselves to make it palatable. We didn't expect American portions, but 10 bites per person for $50 USD OR $900 pesos roughly is RIDICULOUS! DONT WASTE YOUR $$$!!! If you are American and are looking for Thai food that you are used to, this is not the place, but I can't imagine anyone being ok with eating here that has had any experience with Thai food anywhere else.... update: I said nothing about being vegan, I don't appreciate making assumptions in your response. I said it wasn't good food, that it was small portions, and you assume I complained because I had the Vegan food? It wasn't worth the price, the rice was pathetic, like a quarter of the container of rice? The noodles were dry and bland. There was zero flavor or care in your food, but go ahead and assume because of what I ordered that I was...
