Celtics Pub — Restaurant in Querétaro

For a so-called Irish pub, Celtics falls spectacularly short of even being an overly appropriated theme restaurant. From exorbitant prices to lackluster food and complete lack of Irish music or other cultural elements, this establishment is a middle finger to the people of the Emerald Isle.

The atmosphere, while not objectionable, lacks any semblance of Irish character or charm. Aside from a few token flags and shamrock motifs, and a partially obscured view of los arcos, the aesthetic is more cookie cutter Instagram than anything else.

$300 pesos for two pints of Guinness is highway robbery, especially considering they don't even have the iconic stout on tap (that's right, you can buy the same thing much cheaper at the store).

The food and service is equally disappointing. After waiting nearly an hour just for our appetizer (which itself had to be changed twice), it took even longer for our pizza – a dish about as Irish as tacos al pastor. The fact that they serve pizza and tacos at all speaks volumes.

Unless you're desperate for overpriced canned beer and sub-par staples, skip this place, especially on St....

We usually love the fish and chips at Celtics. In fact over the weekend we made a special trip hoping to enjoy the busy happy pub by atmosphere and the excellent fish and chips usually served at Celtics. It was more or less empty and very gloomy at 2.30 on a Saturday. No atmosphere at all. We ordered drinks but when the nice server arrived with the menu she told us just about everything was not available. Literally. We were told it was all finished. Disappointed we left. The parking situation is expensive. An were were in the pub for just a few minutes. I hope they get their act together again very soon. We miss the pub food...

Tal vez fuimos en un mal día, pero aún así no deja de ser una experiencia poco agradable.... Cuando llegamos vimos una promoción de 4 heineken y te regalaban un vaso el mesero nos dijo que ya no tenían vasos pero que tenía la promoción de 4 heineken a un precio especial (en ese momenro entendimos Y aceptamos la promoción sugerida del cual primero pedimos 2), yo pedí un vodka arándano en seguida regresa el mesero Y me indica que sólo tenian jugo de piña o naranja acepté el de piña, a la siguiente ronda pedimos las otras 2 heineken, ahora en vez de pedir vodka pedí centenario plata, A la siguiente ronda pedimos otra heineken y una piñada, el mesero regresa indicando que ya se le había acabado la heineken, tuvimos que pedir otra marca y la piñada también se les había acabado nos trajeron una conga de cortesía, a la cuarta cuba de centenario plata me dicen que ya se les había acabado que si me traían herradura plata acepté, luego pedimos unos dedos de queso lo mismo pasó que ya no tenía terminamos pidiendo las bombas de 4 quesos, cuando volví a pedir otro herradura sabía más a refresco que nada me ofrecieron otro medio caballito, en las siguientes rondas tuve que pedir el tequila aparte.... Las 2 estrellas son únicamente por el servicio ofrecido del mesero ya que él no tiene la culpa de que el lugar no tenga lo necesario, si fuera calificacion para el mesero sin duda serían las 5 estrellas... En fin, mejor deberían ofrecer lo que tienen...
