Great tasting food! Worth stopping by here.
Good to Know:
Ordered: Chicken Tacos Chicken Gringas Chicken Quesadillas Orange Fanta Envase Horchata
Currency: CASH only. Pesos preferred! If paying with US dollars, keep in mind there will be a few extra dollars added to your bill due to the cost they incur to then exchange from USD to Pesos, which in our opinion is understandable. If an additional few USD added to your total bill is something that you foresee would bother you, bring pesos.
Atmosphere: Child friendly. A bit loud for our preference, but only because it is on the sidewalk of a rather busy road, other than that, the music wasn’t too loud and it was Hispanic music which we appreciated. The seating was outdoors but covered, and an overall pleasant atmosphere, where locals and tourists alike, enjoy meals.
Service: servers aren’t invasive and mostly keep to them selves, which works for us, but if you’re someone who prefers service with multiple checkins, then this may not be the place for you.
Food: the food tasted good. Seemed fresh. Included, a self serve toppings table to dress your tacos!
Sustainability Tip: BYO reusable water bottle. When ordering drinks ask if it comes in a bottle (Envase) and if it is glass (vidrio). Most places will serve Horchata or Hibiscus drinks in plastic bottles, except for a few restaurants or cafes which will pour you a glass. Coca-Cola, Sprite, or Fanta is usually in a glass bottle and made with real cane sugar (in a few places, they’ll come in a plastic bottle, like at some grocery stores, otherwise most taquerias or food places will have glass bottles available).
Language: helpful to know basic Spanish, not absolutely necessary as they have a menu that is also in English and very straightforward. Simple terms that can be helpful: the check please = la cuenta por favor. Please= Por favor. Thank you= gracias. Hello= Hola. We are ready= somos listos. 1= uno. 2= dos. 3= tras. 4= cuatros. 5= cincos. Bottle= envase. Cold Water= agua fría. Ice= hielo. Without ice= sin hielo.
We definitely recommend this local gem for their fast service, affordable prices,...

I visited Cancun, Tulum, Mexico City, Guadalajara and Tequila but nothing comes close to the tacos I ate here. Even though it may seem like a hole in the wall, every taco I ate here was delicious and came with a variety of condiments including rice and beans. You definitely need cash and I highly recommend trying everything on the menu, especially the chorizo, pollo and al pastor tacos. I would also try their red salsa on the side rather than on the taco because it can get pretty spicy. Each taco was about 30 pesos (~$1.5 USD), which was so affordable and worth it. Parking is also available right outside the spot or along the many parking spots along the many shops on that same strip of road.

Read moreI can’t believe this place doesn’t have more reviews because it is just SO DELICIOUS. We came across this spot on our way back to the villa we were staying at after a night out drinking on the beach.... all I can say is that I ended up getting quesadillas and tacos here 3 days out of my 6 days in Tulum. I guess you can say I really loved their food. Traditional and made fresh on the spot- many locals eat here which was wonderful to see how they support local business. They were very friendly and the sauces were amazing. I can say so many wonderful things about this little spot. DO NOT...
