Vegetables were cramped with noodles hardly any soup, asked for more soup the waitress charged me extra. Multiple harassments beginning to end. Growing up in Asia just had a leg muscle strain and hungry I was happy to find that ramen bar across the street. Holding a wallet and a key in my bare hands the waitress asked me to scan their code for menu, yes she couldn’t see I had no phone, never mind, asked for vegetarian, was happy that the waitress showed me two options on a paper menu, exactly same ingredients only with or without miso paste, a super expensive 220 and 240 pesos which I would turn away in Cancun, I bared it, and told the waitress the miso noodle, the miso vegetable noodle xx, to make myself loud and clear with no confusion, cause I wanted to have the miso soup. Going directly towards the backyard the waitress asked me eat here or to go, I said loud and clear I eat hear while waving my arm towards the backyard pointing right down, case I was happy getting myself a little treat. To make sure that 20 peso extra was spent worthwhile I went back to double check the only difference is miso paste and wondered if there was any seaweed, she asked me did I order miso or miso vegetarian, yes that ask for vegetarian, I loud and clear reading their long order title word for word miso vegetable xx and those two options she pointed to me doesn’t count she just placed different order had to tell the kitchen again, never mind, then sitting at the backyard she told me to pay and told me my to go was ready, oh my gosh, if you couldn’t hear well you also couldn’t see the backyard I was pointing at? Never mind, finally the noodle came, scrambled vegetables with noodle hardly any soup, I could appreciated the cook made the effort to fry the vegetables but liked so much more the authentic one with assorted veggies on top and a lot more soup to drink, so asked to add more soup, to my big surprise, the waitress said I had to pay extra. That was pretty crazy of course no, but that dry and plain scrambled noodle was nothing like the tasty authentic ramen I had to ask if they had any spices and explained to the waitress Japanese one with salt spices and sesame mix, the waitress literally said “ah” and went away to clean another table making me standing there asking again and got a no. One horrible experience right from beginning finally come to a climax as I finally finished the noodle with no complains nicely went there to pay, on the POS the amount was 260, without any explanations, I had to find the paper menu and pointing at the 240 to them, and they completely ignored it was fine just 20 extra pesos and started to accuse me for giving them a hard time changing orders changing togos. Whatever menu updates you have you are responsible to tell your customer how much it cost when they place the order right on your face, period, the picture of dry noodle on your menus was vege noodle not the vege miso I ordered, go check the camera what she asked right when she entered word for word order she placed, which direction she was pointing to eat what she said, and the happy smile on her face, yes, you will never see that again. I literally took my time to write this review 2 days later, so horrible that needs to be written. Shame on you empty minded and rude waitress hurasting her 6+ times when she just came to your restaurant to have a nice noodle. For that service and noodle you should close your restaurant study what was recorded before running...
Read moreWow! Hands down the BEST Asian food in Tulum! You must try this place, trust me. It’s authentic, flavorful, and incredible quality. We ordered gyozas, shoyu ramen, karage, and salmon fried rice and literally every dish was delicious! Paired with a lovely staff with excellent service and a super cute ambiance, this is THE place to go to get great quality Asian food. But seriously, our waiter was friendly and attentive and wonderful. I barely got photos of the food because I scarfed it all down before I even thought to photograph! (Not my fault, it smelled so good!!) The gyozas were crispy and soft, full of flavor, and perfectly cooked. The ramen broth and pork were also flavorful but my highlight was the noodles. I typically don’t go too crazy for ramen noodles but I couldn’t get enough of these. The karage was spot on! Crispy, delicious, juicy chicken. Even the plain white rice that came with it was cooked perfectly, not too hard or soft. Lastly, the salmon fried rice was so yum! I wasn’t expecting such incredibly authentic and delicious Asian food in Mexico but this is truly a gem. The prices are great too by the way! Literally no reason not to come here and...
