M Tulum is an absolute gem! From the moment you step in, you’re welcomed by a lively atmosphere with something for everyone, whether you’re there for a chill night with friends or a big celebration. One of the standout features here is the extensive hookah selection—perfect for kicking back and relaxing. And the DJ knows exactly how to keep the energy up, dropping a mix of everything from classic Mexican hits to modern favorites like Glorilla. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.
The Piña Colada here is fantastic, refreshing with just the right balance of sweetness and tropical flavor; it’s easily a 10/10 and a drink I’ll definitely return for on my next Tulum visit. My fiancé ordered the Pepperoni Pizza, and it was also incredible—great flavor, perfectly cooked, and definitely worth trying.
M Tulum also caters well to big groups, offering bottle service for those celebrating in style and tons of no-price seating no matter your order, making it an easy choice for anyone looking to unwind without breaking the bank.
Other menu highlights include the Truffle Fries, which add a gourmet touch to a casual favorite, and the Guacamole & Chips, a Mexican classic that’s fresh and flavorful. For seafood lovers, the Shrimp Ceviche is a fantastic choice—light, zesty, and perfect for sharing. And for something sweet, the Churros with Chocolate Sauce are a must-try; they’re crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and a perfect way to end your meal.
Overall, M Tulum offers a top-notch experience with great food, drinks, and vibes. Whether you’re here to celebrate or just to enjoy some good music and food, it’s a place you’ll want to revisit...
Read moreGreat music, even better vibes. Food & drinks are also pretty good. However watch out for hidden fees.
Before I get into this review, be aware that this is my own experience and might vary for you.
Atmosphere The venue was really nice looking with lots of neon signs and instagram-worthy photo walls. There’s also an indoor pool which was open the entire night. The DJs played a lot of good music and the MCs were quite entertaining and always engaged with the crowd.
The food & drinks The food was good. Nice presentation and decent portions priced at decent prices. It might seem on the higher end and it probably is but for Tulum nightlife as a tourist, it is pretty average.
The negatives So with all being said and done, I would definitely be visiting again simply for the previous points. However if anything were to stop me from coming back, it would be the checkout experience. When it is time to pay, expect surprise costs; I’m not a stranger to tax, fees and others of the sort. However the price jumped up almost $1,000 MXN when I asked to pay with card. In the end it seems the tip was included alongside transaction fees. The experience was very uncomfortable and didn’t make for a good close out to the night.
Also expect to be constantly recommended the most expensive items on the menu. I personally did not mind but some...
Read moreThis place ABSOLUTELY SUCKED. Words cannot describe how utterly disappointed I was with my experience at this club. The music was TRASH. I’m not sure who they had as the DJ but they seriously need to pick a different profession. The music was outdated and they lacked the ability to blend transitions. It was so bad, everyone was literally sitting down; what happened to “read the room?!” We kept asking them to play the same music they played earlier when we stumbled across the place (afrobeats). I guess the DJ was deaf too. These people are thefts as well. We had one drink and a hookah and they charged $100 dollars. Not worth wasting your time or money. You are better off buying a bottle from the store and drinking it at your hotel/room while playing your own music. Mind you this was a Friday night and we got there at 11:40 because the staff told us to come aound 11 for the party. We had every intention to buy bottles and spend money because it was our honeymoon, but because of the TRASH DJ, we didn’t spend the money we planned on to. Needless to say, we did not have the party and fun we expected. We left after spending 40 minutes here....
