Normally I do a lot of research on the food places I want to try when I travel, but this place we had seen during our last trip to Tulum and just never ended up going. So, this time around, we decided to give it a try! We didn't order a lot because we were just snacking, but we got the chicken and arrachera tacos, which were both so good. They both come with a side of rice (and other goodies that I can't quite remember, sorry) and even the rice is delicious. We also tried a couple drinks. I had a daiquiri (yum yum) and my friend had a margarita (also yum yum).
The place itself has a really cool vibe and is really lively almost all the time (we passed by a few more times later during our trip and it was packed!). The food and drinks are quite affordable too. The waiters/waitresses are really friendly and provide very good/fast service. I also really loved the mural along the left wall. It's a really nice place to have a seat and take in just being in Tulum. If you're there in the evening/at night, try and get a seat that's on the terrace. It's just really fun to see everyone passing by and enjoying themselves. I would love to go back! =D

Read moreOur server was very pushy. He tried extremely hard to convince me to buy their lobster special even though I made it clear several times that I was not interested. He kept telling me that it was really good and it was what I wanted. It was so excessive that he brought one out during that moment between ordering our drinks and ordering our food. He tried giving it to me right then & there while still arguing with me that it was what I wanted. He seemed disgruntled when I began to get a little angry. I cant recall what food we ended up ordering after the debacle as it was seemingly forgettable. He tried pushing more on us again at the end of the meal by pouring us liquor we didn't order or want. We had to forcefully tell him no before he stopped pouring shots...
Read moreThe service here is very good. But we had one server in particular named, Lorena. She was marvelous. The food was well prepared. We had the fish tacos and fajitas. The fajitas were a little dry but the tacos were excellent. The margaritas were delicious. Well prepared and had a nice kick to them. The place is generally clean for this area and it’s part of the up and coming revitalization of this area. So it’s the in place for millennial. Etc. but all are welcomed and from what we could see were enjoying their meals. It’s in town so a lot of Europeans visit here. It’s old Mexico. Less touristy. Which I like. Try it....
