Paco's Tacos — Restaurant in Quintana Roo

Our first dining experience at the Occidental was at Pacos Tacos and La Piazza. New to the resort, our waiter was fantastic! He brought us some samples of the different tacos to try at our table, and provided some pizza suggestions. The food was good but about what you would expect from this type of restaurant. Later in our stay we were actually provided a menu for both places and could change up our orders. Some of the wait staff were excellent, while others not so much. On our first night at the Occidental at xcaret destination we dined at Paco's tacos Mexican taqueria and we had the pleasure of being served by rigoberto, Perez Ramirez an outstanding waiter. He made sure our food came in less than 4 minutes with the drinks as well. He made great recommendations on the menus and drink mixes. Overall had most of the menu. They are traditional tacos and the sauces and add ones are fresh and quickly refilled if needed. Would highly recommend you to try them. Ask for Rigoberto...

Tacos para botanas en Hotel Occidental by destinación Xcaret. El primer día unos taquitos decentes y comillas aunque las salsas no valían la pena..insípidas o extremadamente picantes (puro habanero licuado). La siguiente vez fuimos a las 7 de la noche (abre a las 4 pm y cierra a las 2 pm), NO TENIAN FLAUTAS NI DORADAS GRINGAS EN UN LIMITADO MENU! ES POSIBLE QUE EN UN SUPUESTO HOTEL 5 ESTRELLAS SUCEDA ESO? Todo estaba frío y la carpeta era 7na piedra. Que paso? Le sugerí al mesero que jamás le diga eso a un cliente, pueden haberse agotado en el momento pero si van a preparar más que lo diga y dé la opción de esperar o no. Eso apenas un incidente de los tantos desagradables en este Barcelo que no recomiendo a nadie. Si le interesa lea mi critica del hotel. Si algo excepcional que tiene México es SU GENTE Y SU GASTRONOMÍA. LOS Barcelo la demeritar con la miseria que ofrecen y además hacen quedar mal al Grupo Xcaret.
