A Culinary Delight in Tulum's Heart
Nestled in the vibrant streets of Tulum, Potheads offers an unparalleled culinary experience that tantalizes the taste buds and leaves you craving more. My recent visit to this gem left me utterly impressed, and here's why:
First and foremost, let's talk about the food. I had the pleasure of indulging in their combo steak and shrimp burrito, and let me tell you, it was a flavor explosion! The tender, succulent steak combined with plump, juicy shrimp, wrapped in a warm tortilla, was nothing short of perfection. Every bite was a symphony of flavors, perfectly balanced and expertly seasoned.
But the culinary excellence didn't stop there. Accompanying my meal was the Minty Matcha drink—a refreshing blend of invigorating mint and earthy matcha. It was the ideal complement to the bold flavors of the burrito, providing a cool, revitalizing contrast.
The ambiance of Potheads Tulum is equally enchanting. The laid-back atmosphere, adorned with vibrant decor and lush greenery, creates a welcoming space where you can unwind and savor every moment. Whether you're dining solo, with friends, or with that special someone, Potheads sets the stage for a memorable dining experience.
Last but certainly not least, the service at Potheads deserves commendation. The staff members are attentive, friendly, and passionate about ensuring that every guest has a remarkable dining experience. Their genuine warmth and hospitality elevate the overall dining experience to new heights.
In conclusion, Potheads Tulum is a culinary oasis in the heart of Tulum. From the exquisite fusion of flavors to the inviting ambiance and impeccable service, every aspect of this restaurant exudes excellence. Whether you're a local resident or a traveler exploring Tulum's culinary scene, a visit to Potheads is an absolute must. Trust me—you won't be disappointed.

Read moreVery disappointed by my experience here. Came in by myself and experienced extremely slow service to the point where it was almost comical. It seemed like the servers were on vacation too, they seem to be walking around but not actually providing any service to tables, not really sure what they’re doing. It took 10 minutes to have someone come take my order after flagging someone down. I ordered 3 things- an iced americano, a matcha smoothie, and the vegetarian burrito. The coffee took 10 minutes, the smoothie took 20 minutes, and the burrito was 30 minutes. The place was not busy so I'm not sure why the wait was pretty long for some simple items. The matcha smoothie was not good at all, seriously no flavor, i asked to change it or send it back and they said i had pay and offered me some sugar to add. a smoothie that claims to have bananas and mangos in it should have some semblance of flavor or sweetness. I shouldn’t have to add sugar. The burrito was okay, it was weird flavors, spinach, cheese, broccoli. I was hoping for some beans, some salsa, etc. worst part or the experience was the burrito actually made me feel so sick my stomach was turning after for hours. I never get sick at restaurants, and ive eaten from random food trucks here and have never had a problem. I would not waste my time here, they have automatic tip so they dont care about service. As a server of 5 years myself, they definitely couldve done better but its just they dont care. Save your coin and try another cafe in the area, there are plenty with better food, service, and wont...

First off, service is absolutely awful - after 15 minutes of looking at the menu, against my will, I waited then another 30 minutes for my coffee. It was a simple order.
Then, the food was another 45 minutes - which is insane. The restaurant was maybe at 1/2 capacity. I came at 10am. They had 4-5 workers on the floor and still.
I got the chicken and waffles. Once finally served, it looked dry but plated nicely. The server asked me if I wanted syrup - ???? duh? Isn't syrup the whole component of chicken and waffles? Sweet and salty?
The actual dish was salty, dry, and honestly, overpriced for what was given.
I've eaten allllll over Tulum. I'm a very fair scorer at these places. This one takes the lead for the worst overall experience.
In my opinion, go across the street to Kibok Coffee Tulum. I was there yesterday and it was absolutely amazing. Service, quality,...
