Let’s talk about Quesopes…
I’ll start by saying this was a delivery order through whatsapp. I gave my address and order which was: 1 quesope with rajas 1 huarache with beef tinga 1 mega torta with shredded chicken (add cheese)
The friendly employee on the other end confirmed my order with prices that matched the online menu prices and added the delivery cost through rappi which was minimal. Then they gave me an estimated time of 30 minutes but said they would text if the order left sooner (it did) and thanked me with the opportunity to choose them….
My gosh I chose wisely for sure! There was so much shredded Oaxacan cheese on everything it was just crazy. The rajas were roasted to perfection and the beef tinga had just the right amount of onions, garlic, and grilled tomatoes. Crispy lettuce and avacado were on all three items. The sandwich was on the biggest loaf of garlic bread I have seen on n the island next to the baguettes at sugar and salt. Just an obscene.amount of food proportion wise per order and it tasted fresh and made to order. I bet it would be even better in store.
Here is the best part…from initial order time to delivery it was 15 minutes. Some sort of land speed record for sure. I’d say check the menu out and give it a try. We will again! — at...
Read moreI don’t understand how this place has such amazing reviews. This will be my only negative review from our two weeks in Cozumel.
The service was slow, and the food was bland (I cannot possibly overstate how bland the food was). The salsa had zero heat and when we asked for a hotter salsa, they made some new from scratch (we heard the blender) but the flavor still just wasn’t there (and no heat).
The beautiful videos aren’t what we experienced in actuality and the menu is confusing (had no confusion with other menus in Mexico). The portions were not as large as the videos, and the fillings were 90% cheese (unmelted largely) and 10% meat.
On an island with so many exceptional restaurants, I’m shocked that this business exists.
I really wanted to...
Read moreAmazing place, honestly. As someone who has spent most of their life in Mexico City i can tell you I’ve missed this type of food. Which they don’t exactly get 100% Mexico City-like but they have really good, tasty and amazing food, their menu is very varied and their food portions are big. Seriously, and they’re to say something EXTREMELY generous serving Quesillo cheese on almost every plate. I see that inside they have a lot of space but they have very few tables and they’re very spaced out so it feels kind of empty. A place where i perfectly see myself visiting...
