El Rincón de Addy — Restaurant in San Miguel de Cozumel

This breakfast restaurant needs more recognition. The food tasted homemade and the service was incredibly friendly. First time trying huevos rancheros and I think this place did it justice. Although I might be biased here because it was my first time! The mini hot cakes is what sold me on coming here and as a Canadian, the maple syrup was perfect. This is the first place since being in Mexico where they served maple syrup instead of honey with my hot cakes. All around the place felt very authentic and the food was very homey. Absolutely unreal little brunch spot. We came here on a whim, and ultimately spent the whole meal raving to each other about how much we were enjoying it. The garden patio is beautiful and tranquil, the service is SO quick, so friendly, and it’s clearly a well loved family business.
