Sushi and Breakfast — Restaurant in San Miguel de Cozumel

One of my long time favorites with delicious sashimi, sushi, soups, egg rolls and much more. Everything is super fresh and flavorful. They serve 2 extra "non traditional" sauces with whatever you order and both are very spicy hot but delicious and definitely worth a try! My favorite is the one they make charging Serrano pepper and smashing them into some sort of flavored soy sauce. The soy absorbs the Smokey flavor and a bit of the "hot." So you can just pour a bit of the soy sauce on your dish rather than eating the entire pepper - but hey - those are good too! The small mark down on service was only because there were few people there and the gal was more into her phone chats than providing table service. I really wanted to like this place and gave it three chances. The food is cold and the service is absolutely terrible. Tonight we ordered vegetarian egg rolls, one would think that they would have vegetables in them but it was a fried egg roll stuffed with rice no vegetables. The service is beyond terrible when we were there there was no one else in the building there were five staff members standing there staring at us we couldn't get our order taken or get anything to drink. Absolutely disgusting. Almost every sushi roll has cream cheese in it (never a good sign). Drinks which we ordered first came half way through dinner. When I finished eating I noticed an odd film coating the table so I dabbed it with a napkin and it came up. I wiped the film off the table and the napkin had turned dark brown. DISGUSTING. It had not been cleaned in some time.
