Absolutely love this place. We were here last week during Hurricane Zeta in which the entire hotel zone of Tulum closed by 2pm and we’re evacuated by 7pm. The team at this restaurant/hotel was BEYOND accommodating and provided us with an extremely fun and safe way to ride out the hurricane.
The owner was bringing us food even though his kitchen was closed and his workers were packing up to leave just to ensure that we enjoyed ourselves on our vacation that took a turn for an almost catastrophic end to our trip. It’s located right on the beach and plays fun reggae while you sip on your margarita and enjoy the waves. Rain, shine, or hurricane - this place is great!

The menu was very limited with outrageous prices - we paid $80 USD for a paella for 2. Like seriously?!? It was mostly rice with maybe 5 shrimps, a few clams, some mussels and limited vegetables. You could find a better and waaaay less expensive paella in Michigan... Also chef made us a shrimp salad that wasn't on the menu, and that ended up costing us $26. The waiter tried to upsell on everything and made us feel quite rushed. Definitely will not be back here and would not recommend...

Our 5 year old enjoyed the food here as well. Also memorable was the seafood platter (I believe they only serve this in the evening), but makes sense to call in advance to ensure they can make it that day (they make whatever is caught that day). The staff was excellent, the chef chatted with us one evening and it was a pleasure to talk with him. This spot is not a loud place- it's got a very pleasant, chilled out atmosphere. We enjoyed...
