Mia was an AMAZING time! 🔥 we stayed for a couple of days out of our month long trip just to be in close proximity from the beach and to celebrate my lady's birthday in the hotel zone and Mia was the perfect place. We got the Jacuzzi suite and that was the best hotel room we've had in Tulum so far! Mia beach club was a vibe! It's the offseason (October) so we didn't experience any of the "tourist traps" people talk about really. They had free yoga at 9am everyday, beachfront massages available, and breakfast was included during our stay. There was no cover charge for the beach club since we were guests and the service by the beach and pool was great. Just be respectful and they will show love! The staff in the front office was super friendly too! We loved talking to them about Mexico City since that's where most of the staff were from. They gave amazing suggestions of places to go to. Overall we had a blast! And the view from the jacuzzi was top tier👌🏾 Might go back before we leave tbh

This is a beach club/hotel that is in need of a lot of upgrades. I can only go off what I seen while staying here. The beach wasn't swimable during my stay due to the sargassum that took over the beaches. So you would think the pool would be the next best option, but no I didn't trust that it was properly sanitized because of the size of the pool and the large amount of people in it. The water was so cloudy and murky.... NO THANKS I'll pass. The best thing about this place is the location. Walking distance from lots of bars and a few cenotes. There wasn't any true walking paths so when ever you leave to go out remember your feet, ankles, and legs will be cover with sand.

Resort is pretty. Lots of sand, no pathways so sand gets in everything. Beach was unusable and very stinky due to sargassum. Pool is small and water dirty. DJ was obnoxiously loud. It was not relaxing at all. We moved after 3 days.

It is only the third day of 14 for us but we have no other option than to write this review now. We were also at Selina last year and it was highly recommended, which is why we chose to stay here again. However, Selina has separated from Mia Restaurant & Beach Club, which has led to big & bad changes.|The first two days were normal but we noticed that the service and quality had gone down, which is understandable. Today we went to breakfast and suddenly we were supposed to pay extra for almond milk and the portions were half the size. From the yogurt to the muesli to the fruit and the fried egg or omelette, everything was halved. I then went to reception and was told that the staff themselves did not accept it but that this decision had been communicated by management. As compensation we were supposed to receive an "extra portion", whereupon we were given a small bowl of scrambled eggs without anything on it for three portions. This is not a criticism of the service, it is really great but this change from one day to the next is unacceptable. |If I had known this before booking, I definitely would not have chosen the Selina again.|Unfortunately I can no longer...

Okay, so real talk: I’ve stayed here before with my family back when it was Selina, and let’s just say… it had potential, but definitely missed the mark.||But this time? Totally different vibe. They’ve rebranded as Mía, and you can immediately see and feel the glow-up. I’m talking actual maintenance staff walking around (hallelujah), complimentary coffee and water in the rooms, and you can tell the rooms are mid-remodel — in the best way. Clean, fresh, and getting a much-needed facelift.||We came back mainly because it’s right in the heart of Tulum, like, walking distance to all the good bars and restaurants (because duh, priorities!! lol ). And now, they even offer free transportation from the airport to the hotel and back, which was such a bonus.||Nightlife was lit, the hammocks were a vibe, and I may or may not have taken way too many random pics of our stay (uploaded a few just for the memories).||I’m giving this place 5 stars- not because it’s perfect, but because it’s genuinely getting better, and I love seeing the changes. Can’t wait to see what else is new next...
