A group of friends and I stumbled upon this place. It’s behind some gates and easy to miss. No wonder it wasn’t crowded! We had an amazing, relaxing afternoon. A big part of Tulum’s appeal is the beach, but the cenote club is a unique alternative if you want something a little different for a day. We had already done a cenotes tour in Chemuyil but loved spending more time relaxing in this cenote. It was chilly at first but you get used to it quickly. It was deep and there were a lot of cool fish to watch. When not swimming, we were relaxing on the comfortable sunbeds. Our server Armando was wonderful - attentive and friendly. I loved the green ceviche. There was a DJ playing house/trance music at an appropriate volume. The cenote club is surrounded by nice plants and the whole atmosphere is very tranquil. The entrance fee was approx $35 per person, which included sunbed, towel, welcome cocktail, and reef-friendly sunscreen. I thought it was well worth the money....

Be careful of the sunscreen!! Have serious burns. The place itself is really nice and the DJ was great, but unfortunately my day was completely tarnished because the sunscreen they ask you to use does not work at all and I’ve gotten seriously bad sunburn. It’s definitely the sunscreen because I am SO careful in the sun and I’d already applied my own sunscreen to my arms and just their one on my legs - the photo shows the complete difference. And this was in a short space of time as the afternoon turned cloudy. Has put a complete spoiler on my holiday as I’m in so much pain, staff couldn’t care less and refused to even refund the entry fee and claimed they’d not had issues with it before which I struggle to believe. Be careful and use your own then shower...

I recently went to Tulum to visit family. My cousin took us by this cenote hotel. We got day passes and a day and it did not disappoint! As you can see, the cenote is beautiful. It was pretty hot that day and cenote was nice and cool. They gave us a complementary skin care bag with sun screen, after sun care and more. We didn't plan on staying that long but ended up there for awhile - so we ordered food. Everything we had was delicious. We had the Shrimp and cheese tacos, hummus, guac, chicken club, and octopus tacos. Everything was great and kept us full until dinner time. They have a DJ and a nice bar selection. I would...

We had an unforgettable day at Shibari Tulum using the day pass to enjoy the stunning cenote and property. From the warm welcome at reception to the shaded day bed with fresh towels and welcome drinks, the service was next level. Staff brought popsicles, fresh fruit, and new drink tastings throughout the day while a passionate DJ set the perfect vibe. They even surprised me with a cenote safe sunscreen and a phone charger when they thought my cell battery may running low. The cenote is absolutely magical—this is hands down one of the best ways to spend a day in Tulum!
