Far and away the most disappointing dining experience I’ve had in a long time. First, the meat plate looks absolutely nothing like the one featured on the menu, instead of a varied assortment of çevapi, chicken and kebabs, our plate was loaded with rubbery chicken and two tiny çevapi that were disgusting. Second, do not order the fish plate. The pricing is listed by 100 gram increments which makes sense however, when ordering our server said that you would get all that is pictured for the price (~7€ I believe). They then proceeded to charge us for 4 of these but we were never told that we ordered 400 grams so this seemed arbitrary. When I went to tell the staff about the misunderstanding they told me there was nothing they could do and I would have to pay for the whole thing, arguing with me that this was “what I wanted” when I made it very clear it was not, only relenting when I threatened to only pay for our drinks and leave. They also charge a 10% service fee upfront - a laughable fee given the “service” provided is far and away the worst I ever received. The waiter manning the door will do his best to sweet talk you into coming in but keep on walking - this is a greasy tourist trap and the food isn’t worth the paper the menu...
Read moreWe loved this place. From the first interaction when we asked Han for directions to the last meal we had here, the staff has been friendly and helpful. Mario has been our waiter each time and made our visits very enjoyable. They even made space in their crammed kitchen for our luggage after our room closed. We've only been here for breakfast but came back two more times. We had eggs, coffee and the fritters and all was excellent all three times. Especially the fritters (like beignets, or uštipci in Serbian). On the menu they're listed as sweet croissants, but they're actually a deliciously soft and crispy fried dough with dipping chocolate and sauce on the side. I'd come here just for these. I won't be visiting Kotor without stopping by Little Bay Garden. P.S. we've also been to their larger restaurant at the beach and were equally...
Read moreWe had doubts about dining in this restaurant because of the mixed reviews, however, we were positively surprised. The restaurant had nice outdoor dining area, in a rather peaceful alley. We ordered Njegushi steak and black risotto. Njegushi steak was on the dry side, but the taste was good and prociutto was both inside and on top of the steak. Grilled vegetables on the side had pleasant smokyness and char. The texture of the black risotto was a bit off, however, it did not bother much as it was made up by the good taste and well cooked seafood. Overall we enjoyed the dinner, food tasted good, atmosphere and service were also nice. FYI, the bill included a service...
