Unfair treatment, aggression, and false accusation – extremely disappointing experience.

I had a deeply upsetting experience at this bar during a hostel-organized pub crawl in early July 2025.

After buying drinks for my friends, someone accidentally knocked over my tray. He apologized and offered to cover the cost. When he asked to keep the remaining drinks, I agreed — we both saw it as a fair exchange.

However, the bar owner saw this interaction and suddenly accused me of selling drinks. I was shocked. I calmly explained the situation, but he refused to listen. He tore up the €5 that was handed to me as compensation for the spilled drinks and became aggressive. At one point, a bar staff member even threw an empty cup at my face.

Despite trying to defuse the situation and explaining myself clearly (in front of other guests), I was told to leave or they would call the police. I recorded parts of the incident and have witnesses who saw everything.

Although I was later offered one beer "as compensation," it did not match the value of what was lost — and did not make up for being publicly accused and threatened.

This was not a drunken misunderstanding. I acted calmly and respectfully throughout. I’ve traveled a lot, and this was one of the most unfair and aggressive situations I’ve encountered at any venue.

I would strongly caution other travelers — especially solo guests — to avoid this bar. You may not be treated...

We were looking for a nice cocktail place in the oldtown. We found on maps that they have 4.5 stars and it was commented as overall good. When we were there the chairs and the tables were shaking. Not nice to sit on a shaking bar chair on the street, I spilled my water, Thankfully the waiter brought a new one. There was a group of 7-8 people who were yelling constantly. They were extremely loud and desperate for attention, but nobody warned this guys. I had to put some paper into my ears due to this noise lol. Everyone was disturbed by them. Also the music was very high. So with only one cocktail we went home and felt like someone beated us. Its too tiring to sit at a place like this noisy for average cocktails. Its better to drink...

As a local, I was deeply disappointed by the experience here. I ordered a glass of wine and was served the absolute cheapest cooking wine produced in Montenegro “Moje Vino” something no respectable bar should ever serve to guests, let alone charge for!

When I pointed this out, the staff acted as if it was normal. It’s frustrating to see foreign-owned places in Montenegro cutting corners and showing zero respect for local products or their customers. I expected better, both in terms of quality and hospitality.

You are foreigner owners and you want to disrespect my country by serving cheap A*S wine to tourists?!

This is shameful and you better not be serving those cheap wines in a country where wine is made!
