Golful Kotor este considerat cel mai sudic fiord al Europei, un golf maritim îngust, sinuos și intrat adânc în uscat, cu maluri abrupte și înalte care creează un tablou în care apa mării se aliază cu munții stâncoși și înalți care parcă o protejează dominator...este un golf cu o lungime de aproximativ 30 de kilometri, denumit de localnici Boka Kotorska, care a favorizat dezvoltarea unei zone în care se regăsesc mai multe orașe mici și pitorești, trasee montane și porturi...la capătul golfului se regăsește așezat orașul istoric cu același nume....Kotor este cel mai vechi port și cel mai vechi oraș medieval fortificat de la Marea Mediterană și face parte din Patrimoniul Mondial UNESCO...este o zonă bine dezvoltată din punct de vedere turistic, o oprire obligatorie pentru orice vas de croazieră de pe Marea Adriatică...orașul vechi Kotor face parte din Patrimoniul Mondial UNESCO și este considerat principala atracție turistică din zona Golfului Kotor, fiind etichetat de-a lungul timpului ca mini-Dubrovnik sau Veneția Muntenegrului...odată ce ai intrat în orașul vechi Kotor și ai trecut dincolo de zidurile care îl străjuiesc, te vei pierde într-un labirint de străduțe și alei pietruite dintre care unele foarte înguste...clădirile sunt încă locuite iar stilul arhitectural amintește de cel din Veneția, sub stăpânirea căreia s-a aflat o lungă perioadă...în interiorul perimetrului format de zidurile mari și groase vei mai găsi numeroase restaurante și terase, gelaterii, dar și magazine de antichități și suveniruri...atracțiile orașului vechi mai includ piețe, numeroase monumente de arhitectură medievală, biserici, catedrale, palate și muzee ca: Muzeul Maritim, Catedrala Sfântul Tryphon, Biserica Ortodoxă Sfântul Nicolae și Muzeul Pisicilor din Kotor...dintre zidurile fortificate ale orașului vechi Kotor pornește și traseul către vechea Cetate San Giovanni...pentru iubitorii de drumeții, din orașul vechi Kotor se poate merge la Cetatea/Castelul San Giovani pe un traseu de aproximativ 4,5 kilometri lungime, destul de abrupt și care conține aproximativ 1350 de trepte din piatră...traseul nu este extrem de dificil dar necesită disponibilitate pentru o repriză bună de efort...de asemenea, se recomandă încălțăminte adecvată (excludeți sandalele din start) și parcurgerea traseului la orele dimineții sau seara, pentru a evita căldura sufocantă din sezonul de vară...ar fi bine să ai cu tine și o sticlă cu apă, căci traseul până sus durează aproximativ 90 de minute...treptele mari din piatră urcă pe lângă zidul construit în urmă cu peste 1000 de ani, iar odată ajuns la destinație, deși din cetate nu au rămas decât niște ruine, nefiind foarte întreținută, vederea de sus asupra Golfului Kotor îți va tăia respirația...acesta este unul dintre puținele locuri ușor accesibile din care poți avea o perspectivă uluitoare asupra unei mari părți a Golful Kotor...orașul este foarte animat, plin de...

Réservation à l’hôtel grand admiral de Slano par une hôtesse du groupe TUI pour la croisière dans la baie de Kotor et notre Dame des Rochers. Cette journée du 23 septembre 2025 restera marquée par la nullité de ce programme à commencer par le manque d’information sur le passage de la douane entre la Croatie et le Monténégro dont l’hôtesse de vente s’est bien abstenue de donner sachant qu’elle était au courant que passer ce poste de douane pouvait durer longtemps (2 heures à l’aller et 1h30 au retour). Notre rendez-vous était à 6h30 devant l’hôtel Grand Admiral de Slano. Nous sommes pris en charge par un mini bus à l’heure. Celui-ci s’arrête à mi-chemin pour prendre en charge d’autres personnes. Avant Dubrovnik, changement de bus plus gros. Le Chauffeur et un personnage assez spécial qui se nomme Andy nous attendaient. À partir de ce moment, le bus s’arrête 4 fois pour récupérer différentes personnes dans différents hôtels faisant des manœuvres à la limite de la sécurité. Arrivée à la frontière, 9 bus se trouvaient devant nous . Andy nous informa que cela pouvait durer longtemps mais que nous étions en vacances et que ce n’était pas grave. Il récupéra les passeports car les douaniers les scannent un par un . Nous étions dans le bus tout ce temps Clim à fond. Il était interdit de manger dans le bus et d’en descendre et n’avions pas pris de petit déjeuner. Le bus est reparti et nous sommes arrivés dans un petit port à 10h30 pour embarquer sur un bateau . Du même coup l’arrêt petit déjeuner a été supprimé.Deux bus était arrivé depuis un certain temps et le bateau nous attendait (1 heure de retard).De là, départ vers l’île du rocher de la vierge (45 minutes) puis retour au bateau ( repas bon mais très rapide afin de rejoindre Kotor . La visite de la ville s’est passée au pas de course , retour au bateau à 15h00 (visite raccourcie d’1 heure du au retard). Nous avons débarqué au petit port à 16h30 pour reprendre le bus . À la frontière,ce fût le même cinéma avec les mêmes discours de Andy.Nous avons attendu 1h30. Pas de toilette et Clim à fond. Le bus est reparti et sait arrêter aux différents hôtels pour descendre les voyageurs. Andy au lieu de rendre les passeports dans le bus comme le matin a attendu que chacun descend en insistant et indiquant la boîte à pourboire.Nous avons repris un autre bus à Dubrovnik pour arriver à Slano à 20h20. Nous avons passé 7h30 dans le bus. Madame la conseillère en voyages de TUI de cet hôtel a totalement “oubliée “ ces détails qui nous ont pourrits cette journée.
