I recently had the chance to take a boat tour through the stunning Kotor Bay in Montenegro, and it was truly one of the highlights of my trip. Surrounded by dramatic cliffs, charming coastal villages, and crystal-clear waters, the tour offered a perfect blend of natural beauty, history, and relaxation. The journey started from the Kotor marina, where our friendly and knowledgeable captain welcomed us aboard. As we cruised out into the bay, the views were absolutely breathtaking—centuries-old stone, lush green hills rising behind them, and the sun shimmering off the water. One of the first stops was the iconic Our Lady of the Rocks—a man-made islet with a picturesque church. The guide shared fascinating legends and historical facts that brought the place to life. The real highlight came as we approached the Blue Cave, a natural sea grotto with mesmerizing blue water. The light filtering through the cave entrance made the entire experience feel magical, the captain parked the boat and we were able to swim. The boat was comfortable, clean, and not overcrowded, which made the tour feel intimate and relaxing. The crew offered good music, and just the right amount of commentary—informative. Overall, this tour was an incredible way to experience the beauty and history of Kotor Bay from the water. Whether you’re into photography, swimming, or just soaking up the scenery, I’d highly recommend it to anyone...

Did the 3 hour Blue cave, sub base, lady of the rocks trip, at 9am. This was great fun. I'd definitely do it again. The boat was comfortable with cushions, and very fast. The amount of time at each stop was just right. Our Lady of the Rocks was pretty. The submarine cave was cool and fascinating (accompanied by the Bond theme on the boat's sound system). Mamula island added to the Bond idea. The Blue Cave was busy as expected but fun. We swam outside the cave in a sheltered area - I had goggles and the water was clear with fish. It's quite a hoik getting back in the boat - be ready for that. There were several other boats with swimmers, but plenty of space and it felt safe. There was a constant stream of boats doing this trip, but it didn't feel crowded, and in a way added to the excitement - seeing other boats zooming and splashing along. I sat in my soggy trunks wrapped in my towel all the way back, and that was OK - I was last back on the boat so I didn't get any time to change. I didn't take my camera (just used my phone) but actually it would have been OK, both from a water and security perspective. It was busy but well organised at the start - we were almost first there at 8:25, but everyone else was there within 5 minutes, and we left at about 8:45. The guide spoke English and was helpful and friendly. My photo is of a twin boat about to enter the blue cave. Paid 32€...

Fantastic experience. Ilija and his wife are very professional and organized and the check-in process at the dock went very smoothly.

We booked the three hour speedboat tour.

The skipper, Neno, was knowledgeable, friendly, and spoke great English. He regularly interacted with all of the passengers on board and kept the atmosphere lively.

The boat itself was well-maintained and comfortable with a smooth ride the whole way. We stopped at Our Lady of the Rock first where we stopped for 30 mins, then went inside the submarine caves, went past Mamula (the island is private now so boats cannot dock), and finally to the Blue Cave where we swam for another 20-30 mins. By the time we got back to Kotor, it was just slightly over 3 hours. The views of the fjords along the way were phenomenal.

Highly recommend booking with this service as you will actually have time to take pictures and enjoy the experience. We felt safe and at ease the whole time.

The only small downside was that there were 19 passengers on board so it got a little cramped in the back. I sat on the sundeck with a few others and was able to stretch out so I did not mind, but I may have enjoyed it less on the benches...

I generally get sea sick so I was hesitant to go, but I love my wife! The tour was amazing, the boat was quite large and handled the choppy waters very well. George was a very skilled captain and was very attentive to hit the waves and wakes perfectly. He was patient, kind and informative and never made anyone feel rushed during the island or swimming. Easy the best three hours of our trip!
