I got a serious food poisoning from their lemon tart. Yes I am sure because I didn’t eat anything else that day and went there for brunch. The tart was too hot, almost melting, didn’t feel out of fridge and it had a weird metal taste. My husband had a bite and didn’t want to continue, but I did unfortunately because I was hungry and didn’t think such a centrally located and well rated cafe would skip quality control. After 1 hour of eating this tart, I spent the next 24 hours nonstop vomitting with many pills to clean my stomach. I am sure you’d reply saying « it comes/is made fresh bla bla », but I dont think this tart was prepared and stored hygienically. That is your responsibility anyway, but clearly omitted.

The place also didn’t come across as a professional establishment, that also explains the situation. The staff keep chitchatting between them, it feels more like this unwanted +1 guest to someone’s house. And the food served didn’t feel well prepared on the top of being too expensive. My husband had oat bowl and a glass of pomegranate wine. We tasted the same wine in Perast the day before which was sweet, but the wine served in this place is miles away from being a pomegranate wine, which was again too hot and extremely bitter and sour.

I suggest you avoid this place if you dont want to spend 3 days in the bed like me and spoil yourself and your holiday.

Reply: Can you please also send me your tax documents, employment salary certificate and food quality certifications? Otherwise, I will deem you as money laundering, scam, health threatening business since none of them were hanging on your wall, nor you provided me with the food you served me.

I cancelled half of my holiday because of you that cost me thousands of Euro and spent it in the hotel room until I could get up without my head spinning!!! What are you gonna do with my health reports? Pay me my emergency visit cost or the medicines I bought or the cancelled holiday cost?! I would be happy to send them all if you will cover them all.

You are seriously a joke, I am very very sorry to see such a cheap level of denial from a business that feeds people. An apology and a sign of disappointment would go a long way at least, as a human first of all....

Unfortunately, we were disappointed with our visit to this café. We ordered a warm Americano and dessert, based on a promotion listed in the menu — coffee and dessert at a special price. However, they brought us a cold coffee without warning. We decided not to make a fuss, but when the bill arrived, it turned out that the promotion wasn’t applied. They explained that it only applies to hot coffee, which was not clearly stated, and we were not informed about this. As a result, we were charged separately for the coffee and dessert at a higher price.

After a while, it started to rain. The waiters quickly took the napkins and menu from the table to protect them from getting wet, but they didn’t offer us any help. We didn’t even know if there were seats inside — no one told us or invited us to move. Only later did we notice that there were free tables inside, and we moved there, already wet.

It’s very disappointing that the staff’s attention was focused on the napkins and menu, rather than on the comfort of the guests. We didn’t feel any friendliness or willingness to resolve the situation. We also recommend reading the menu very carefully — the wording can be misleading. Unfortunately, our visit left us with only unpleasant...

The chaos and flood of cruise tourists might get you confused in the town of Kotor. But fear not my friends! You have this lovely small haven beside the 5th narrowest street in Europe that can provide you protection from the madness that over tourism brings!

We ordered the Croissant Pesto, Mozzarella & Tomato with the Tart Apple Cashew to share. We couldn’t have been more delighted. The Croissant was freshly prepared and the Tart was a perfect match with our strong cup of Cappuccino. The banana pound cake that we took away powered our hike 900m up the majestic mountains of Kotor.

I specially want to give a shout out to the amazing lady working the second (afternoon) shift on 29 May 2024 Wednesday. She was running the entire cafe by herself - greeting guests, taking orders, preparing the food and coffee - all with a gigantic smile and a huge burst of energy. This was especially refreshing and an extremely sweet experience. If I have to pick one favourite moment we had in Kotor, this was clearly it. Highly recommending anyone who craves a cup of excellent coffee prepared with love to drop by this cute...

I had not been able to find any coffee shops during our Mediterranean cruise that offered anything other than the usual European coffee type beverages (espresso, americano, macchiato, cappuccino…) until this little coffee shop in Kotor. My husband ordered the Iced Bumble Coffee (fresh orange juice, espresso, and caramel syrup) and thought it was a great combination for someone who isn’t into a strong espresso taste. I ordered the Iced Lavender Latte. It was delicious with a perfect blend of espresso to lavender flavor and not overly sweet. We also ordered a tiramisu to share. It was delicious. If you are looking for a delicious dessert and a more diverse coffee menu, drop in and spend some time. The staff were kind and easy to talk to. The inside seating was comfortable but limited. There are a few tables outside the shop where you can enjoy your menu choices and people watch while marveling at the old stone walls surrounding you. You might also be joined by one of the Kotor cats while you enjoy your coffee and cake.

Great Coffee, Lovely Staff ; But Croissants Missed the Mark This bakery in kotor has a great reputation and lots of desserts to choose from. I tried the pistachio croissant but it was not impressive ; the croissant was a bit burnt and soft inside, and the cream was overly sweet with an odd texture. That said, the lavender iced latte was amazing ;unique, well-balanced, and definitely the highlight of my visit. The outdoor seating is really nice, and the lady working there was super friendly. I wouldn’t go back for the croissants, but I’d return for the coffee and the chill atmosphere
