My recent speed boat tour experience in Kotor Bay was nothing short of exhilarating! From start to finish, the adventure was filled with breathtaking views, adrenaline-pumping speeds, and exceptional service.
The tour company ensured a seamless experience right from booking to the actual tour. Our guide was not only knowledgeable about the history and geography of Kotor Bay but also had a keen eye for spotting hidden gems along the coastline.
The highlight of the tour was undoubtedly the speed itself. Zooming across the crystal-clear waters of the bay, with the wind in our hair and the sun on our faces, was an unforgettable sensation. The boat's speed added an extra dimension of excitement to an already stunning landscape.
Throughout the journey, we made several stops at picturesque locations, allowing us to soak in the beauty of Kotor Bay and capture some incredible photographs. From secluded beaches to charming coastal villages, each stop offered something unique and memorable.
Furthermore, the safety measures implemented by the tour company were commendable. The guide ensured that everyone on board wore life jackets and provided clear instructions on safety protocols, which enhanced our peace of mind throughout the tour.
Overall, my speed boat tour in Kotor Bay exceeded all expectations. Whether you're a thrill-seeker or simply seeking to explore the natural wonders of Montenegro, I highly recommend embarking on this adventure. It's an experience you won't soon forget!

Read moreVery good boat trip, decent price too, 35E pp for 3.5hrs in a speedboat. Visit Blue Cave which although not unique is still amazing, being much larger than 'famous' Blue Grotto near Vis island in Croatia. Poke boat into old WWII submarine pen, which was neat (actually 3 of them on the trip visible, what's with all the subs in Yugoslavia?). We stopped for 40min in Portonovo, upscale, new resort/town for coffee (1E nescafe out of machine, but quite good, after 2hrs in a speedboat). The town is super clean, and very very nice; super rich folks will be living there shortly (rumor Novak Djokovic has a place there). We then visited Perast and walked around Lady of the Rocks island/church.
Note: in March, sun shining, 62F, the boat was very chilly. Especially westbound in the afternoon (no sun). Dress warmly! The boat holds ~20 people but didn't feel crowded or uncomfortable (it was clean, uncluttered) but it's a powerful speedboat and the Blue Cave is easily 45min of churning water, spray, vibration, bouncing and noise. It's not in Kotor Boka Bay, but in near open sea. Conversation is limited and hold on to your stuff. A bit uncomfortable, we were all glad to get off for a break.
Our guide, Nikola, was friendly guy, did his job well, no worries...even though we were 30mins late back. 35E pp is not cheap, but the trip will be unforgettable. (If you want cheap, one needs to get out of the euro-zone, into lari or lira. Croatia was cheap with kuna,...
Read moreCombining food and boat ride
We wanted to go on an interesting boat tour so we contacted Kotor Speed Boat Tours (got some great recommendations). They were very responsive and offered us some very attractive tours but the most compelling one was food and boating tour. The tour was organized the best way possible. We started with trying their famous prosciutto and homemade cheese in one restaurant in the old town of Kotor along with city tour. After that we had an opportunity to try sea food specialties, visited one mussel farm and after that tried some local specialties in one local restaurant by the sea they call konoba. We enjoyed the speedboat ride and swimming and blue Adriatic sea. Delicious bites combined with boat ride around Kotor bay are a must! Thank you for...
