L'Ardoise Gourmande — Restaurant in Agadir

I have been in Agadir with my friend for a few days. We had a lovely exerience walking into this restaurant. Our waiter was lovely, funny and very helpful - giving excelent service. We had for starters; mushroom soup, the crab and also a shared scalop platter with mandarin sauce (from mains).

First with a tasty apertif, of bread and olive was served. The mushroom soup was a excellent soup with alot of lovely flavours and nice crunch with the crutons. The scallops soup was also a very lovely and balanced soup. The crab was also lovely, enhancing the taste of crab with lovely spice combinations. My main wa truffel risotto- great dish, and tasted of very much truffle with some pick-me ups underway. The raviole was also such a lively and well-balanced dish. The waiter recommended a lovely wine that was not beyond-expensive which was also good to the food. The restaurant is small, but i love the decoration and the feeling of it being cosy. The visit to this restaurant has completely saved the food-xperience for us in Agadir, as we have found much food or restaurants serve quite bland food, or very particullarily spiced. We also ended up having dessert even though we were full.

Had absolutely the best meal here! Highly recommend! Not only was the dish wonderfully plated and the restaurant had a nice ambiance, but the flavor profile was rich and the various flavors complimented each other. I especially appreciated the black garlic with the scallops and fish. The amuse-bouche of the sardines, that are native to the region, was also very delicious and a nice touch. The entire staff was so friendly. The owner of the restaurant came out to personally ask me about how I was enjoying my meal. Later I talked to the owner and chef and they are absolutely the sweetest and friendliest people. We had a wonderful conversation about the culinary arts and I heard more about their journey to opening this restaurant. My waiter was also amazing, really listening to my interests and recommending a dish that he thought would be great for me. This was truly a special experience from the moment I walked into the door. Thank you so much to the entire team for your warm welcome, the incredible experience, and the sharing of your love and passion for the culinary arts. This is a meal I won’t forget and I’ve been to many a Michelin star restaurant that didn’t quite stand out in any way. I hope to be back again one day! All of...

I don’t say this often - as i visit a LOT of restaurants - you are truly missing out if you do not visit this place. i had the best risotto of my life here - it’s so incredibly creamy with hints of truffle without being too sickly (as risotto usually can be), basil sorbet which was incredible, beef with chimichurri dressing (melt in the mouth). The staff here are so hardworking and friendly. Their only goal is to make sure you enjoy your time here. (Veggies you have options here) Aziz was our waiter and made us feel so comfortable, we’re all very grateful for the hospitality of this establishment. This place is a Gem in agadir. One can only believe that magic is real with what goes on in the kitchen to bring such culinary delights.
