Well what can I say….actually before I get to the food, I take immense joy in starting with the service which was exemplary (other restaurants in Agadir take note, La Buvette outclasses y’all at every turn) the waiter guided me through the menu and his every suggestion was perfect. No pointless extras, no extraneous side dishes, everything was just so. The drink suggestions were brilliant.

Now, the food. Sublime. The best food I have eaten in Agadir by some margin. French, contemporary, big on flavour, BIG ON SERVINGS (arrive hungry), but you know when it is quality food because even when you are full you can feel it digesting in a healthy way.

The crab rolled in smoked salmon was just divine, sweet and tender with that umami punch of the salmon. Light citrus coming through. Paired with a wonderful Marjoram Cosmopolitan.

Next the French Seabass with puréed potatoes. Again, light yet full of flavour with those potatoes giving some richness. Some Mediterranean vegetables rounded that off.

And then a Strawberry Sablé. Ensconced in cream and strawberry jus. That was demolished with a pornstar Martini. Incredible.

The waiter helpfully suggested a Pisto Digestif which reminded me of a smoother margarita, not as sharp. That went down well.

The place is elegant and is giving 1960’s French chic. I adore it. I love the terrace but the inside is sumptuous. And it isn’t often in Agadir (or indeed all of Morocco) that you write home about the bathroom of a restaurant.

My only suggestion is a little gentle sophisticated music and some proper table linen would make it perfect. But I am really nitpicking.

This is by far the best restaurant in Agadir.

The cost of my meal 1 iced latte, 1 water, starter, main, dessert and THREE cocktails was £63/€76/800MAD which for this quality I think is hilariously good value.

That dessert could be shared by two people easily. You could even share the starter and have a main each and you’d be fine. They freely resupply the bread. Oh and there was a complimentary Amuse...

Quite possibly the best restaurant in Agadir. Impeccable service, warm, friendly, modern vibe and atmosphere and absolutely delicious food that is beautifully plated. We will be back. The only negative for some Non-Muslims, I did not see any alcohol being served and quite frankly I forgot to ask, since I was enjoying myself too much to be missing a...
