Maybe something unexpected in downtown Casablanca but definitely something you have to try. This is not your average steak house but a place where people try to build a menu around star of the evening…. Dry aged beef. I month dry aged tender and juicy and no matter if you go for a single steak or an option to share it is worth it. The sides are all freshly made and so are the sauces. As appetizer I decided for a sea bream tatar. It was light, vibrant and had this hint of sweetness and fruitiness that made it special. The Dry aged rib eye was amazing and so was the ratatouille on the side. As dessert I had the banana soufflé with raisin rum ice cream. Great soufflé, moist and airy. Only the ice cream could have a tiny bit more of the rum flavor.

If you want to dine in Casablanca, you must go to La Braise D’or! From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I felt so welcomed and comfortable especially after a long day of traveling! When we were seated, the staff was very attentive and the atmosphere was amazing. When it came time to order, the Chef himself came out to introduce himself and help us with what we wanted. He made sure to ask about our dietary restrictions and answered all of our questions! The steak was the best steak I have ever had, and Chef even gave us complimentary salmon tacos that tasted great. I would 100% recommend...

What a great dining experience. You're greeted by the extremely hospitable head chef who takes you through the menu and helps you with ordering (if needed...there's no pressure at all). The food was delicious: the dorade/sea bream tartar was quite unique and flavorful, the steak perfectly cooked, and the attention to detail in the presentation was evident.
