Whilst looking at other seafood, we met Sara in the wet market. She helped us translate our orders to Arabic, buy vegetables and other seafood to cook.
Whilst the service was really nice (my mom was given a free sample of something - chickpea something(?) she saw someone else eat) the food isn’t particularly special for its cost. We found the lobster was overcooked. The vegetables were also undercooked, but maybe we are unfamiliar with the way it’s usually done in Morocco. Honestly, we wouldn’t have known about this place if it weren’t for Sara. Perhaps it would’ve been better to ask what other locals usually eat - which we observed at the tables beside us were more vegetables and less seafood.
However we really enjoyed talking to Sara, she’s a very lovely person and we wish her...
Read moreRidiculously awful experience. The lady picks you up at the front gate of the market. She helps you pick up seafood at the market, she says she swear the food is good but when they are cooked at the shop, it is just insanely bad. The prawns are not fresh, the razor clamps are full of sand. They even charge the salad 10dh per person, coke, tea 15dh for one person. Most ridiculously, we paid 70dh for the crab cooking, there is only one arm in the plate when it is served. We asked the lady, she brought two legs from the shop kitchen and took one arm from somewhere in the market we don’t know. The crab was weighted 2kg but it has little crab meat inside. It is disgraceful to see a place like this in a muslin country. Definitely tourist trap and I would suggest...
Read moreGood service and friendly atmosphere. Me and my partner dined twice at this restaurant located inside the central market and both had good experience. The restaurant offers grill style meals. An English speaking lady called Sara is extremely friendly and helpful. You can buy fresh seafood from the fish market and have them cooked at the restaurant with a fair price at normally 20dh/kg. We had boiled crab dish (huge in size one) and grilled shrimps for dinner and enjoy our...
