Okay, so we arrived at 1930 to find a closed grille but the owner (French) kindly came out to advise that the restaurant opens at 2000 but it was fine to come in from 1945 for drinks. When we came back another kindly Moroccan gentleman greeted us at the door and inside the owner invited us to choose our table. We had two Cassablanca beers while we chose our meals.
We noted that the - white - tablecloth was quite filthy, a brown mark all along the edges of the table, and we only remained because it was covered with glass, itself looking as though it had been wiped over with a dirty rag.
Our food was actually good, tom yum hed was prepared off menu and a prawn starter prepared as sushi was also nice. Mains were then served, a good vegetable green curry and a chicken dish accompanied by rice (which was not jasmine rice as described but possibly basmati). Both dishes were good.

Read moreI went to this Thai restaurant because my wife (of Thai origin) was desperately missing the food from her country, after 2 weeks in Morocco. Strange place + design, well that doesn't matter much as long as the rest makes up for it. Employee kept walking away while ordering for no apparent reason, like a headless chicken. The place smells strongly of cigarette smoke. Food is bland and lacks the Thai explosion and authentic taste. dishes are basic and should therefore be made flawlessly and well by a basic chef. (rice and noodle dishes). Portions are half real Thai portions. The only positive thing about this place is the hygiene of the toilet, which is better than average in Morocco.
is this a Thai...
