Our stay at La Baraka Auberge was very nice. The rooms were spacious, with a wonderful view of the Ait Ben Haddou (even though there was a construction happening right in front of our window). The bathroom was also clean and spacious. The breakfast was excellent, traditional with a lot of good food (including eggs for protein) and endless supply of fresh orange juice, coffee and Moroccan tea which we loved. On check-in, we have received a welcome drink of Moroccan tea and a snack. The pillows were a bit too big for us - having a smaller pillow option would have been nice. Wifi was only working on the first floor near the reception - there was almost no signal...

Read moreOur tour stopped by here for lunch after visiting Ait Benhaddou. It was a set menu ranging from 110-120 dirhams per menu. The soup was very bland. Had to put lots of salt. We ordered kofta for our main which wasn't that bad but a bit bland still. The some fruits were served for dessert. The price doesn't justify the quality of the food. No value for money. Service was a bit poor as well. Had to ask 4 times for harissa 'cos they kept on forgetting it every time. Minor but, the place was full of flies as well - which was really annoying while eating. Overall, it was enough to satiate our hunger but won't come back if there are...
