Location 2 stars, it doesn’t feel safe walking this way; Food 4 stars, solid, but nothing that spectacular; Price 2.5 stars, Pasta dish costs more than one of the best bistros I frequent in the most prestigious area in Milano, where are we? It is Morocco here, can’t believe they are charging 16€ for pasta frutti di mare and the pasta is not even pasta fresca, but boxed dried pasta; Seafood Selection 2 stars, this is a fishing town, when we arrived on Monday, we were told there was no lobster, no gambas, no orata, no other grilled fish of any kind. Sorry I was in the port this morning, there was plenty of seafood of all kinds. If you really want to come for non pizza, inquire in advance; Ambiance 4 stars ( I am being generous), We were at la table by Madada the evening before, that is a place with big city premium restaurant feeling. And its price is not much higher than here at Gusto.
So you decide. I would probably only recommend...
Read moreWe were hanging out for a pizza tonight after a long drive home, but most of my experiences in Morocco have not been good. Luckily I saw a photo of a delicious looking authentic wood fired pizza with Parma ham and rocket on a Google review here and together with the other reviews we decided to give Gusto a go. A quick call with a very nice English speaking gentleman and a what's app message with our location and 25 minutes later our yummy pizzas arrived. Very tasty and my partner's fruits de mer pizza had both the most seafood and variety I've ever seen !(prawns, octopus, clams) which you would NEVER see in Australia 😍 (there you need a magnifying glass to find any seafood LOL). Yes it's more than pizza in local snack shops but you get what you pay for so we were very happy. We'll definitely visit the restaurant to experience Gusto again for the good food and ambience/environment....

Walked in without a reservation and they worked us in and we are thankful they did.
After three weeks of traveling through Morocco we couldn’t look at another tagine or Moroccan salad. Enough already.
We had a couple of starters and a pizza...and...all were sublime.
A true test for me is when I start eating pizza on a long trip. I rarely eat pizza in the states but it is generally a safe bet when you find yourself tired of local fare.
Well after three bad pizzas and two bad spaghetti meals - really tired of local food - I had a Gusto Pizza.
Wow. Wow. Wow.
Thin, delicate crust with a great selection of toppings- it would sell like crazy anywhere. In the world.
Great food. Great service. Fair price. Go, you’ll be...
