We went here almost every day on our trip to Essaouira. The staff is friendly and service is quick compared to other restaurants in the area. Very good food for very low prices The tea is a must-try! The place is always packed with locals, which is a testament to the quality of the restaurant! Our favorites on the menu are Bissara soup, omelette with tomatoes and batbout with honey. We didn't try the tajine because there are no vegetarian options, but we must say they looked delicious.

Lovely authentic family owned cafe. The owner is really polite and speaks fluent English (plus a handful of other languages too!). They do breakfast options all served with fresh Morocco bread. And in the afternoon/evening they have dinner options such as Tajine, freshly cooked. Mint tea too of course! Always a pleasant atmosphere and the most popular with the local people by far. Ate here twice a day for a whole week :)

I spend a few weeks in Essaouira every year and this is my favourite place for breakfast. High quality, typical Moroccan food. Bread with butter and honey, coffee and orange juice for just about 3€. If you want a seat in the front with "beach view", you'll have to come early though, especially in the summer. People are lining up by 9am. I've also had tajine for lunch here, also very good!

This bustling Moroccan breakfast spot, situated outside the medina, boasts an exceptional sea view, adding to its unique charm. The atmosphere is lively, reflecting the local culture and energy of the area. The food, a delightful array of traditional Moroccan dishes, is both delicious and prepared with impressive speed, ensuring a fresh and flavorful experience. The service is efficient, complementing the overall enjoyable dining experience.

However, it’s worth noting that its popularity can lead to queues, especially during busy weekend mornings. The wait is a testament to the quality and appeal of the establishment. Patrons often find themselves mingling with a diverse crowd, from locals to tourists, all drawn in by the renowned breakfast offerings. So, if you’re planning a visit, consider going a bit earlier to beat the rush, or embrace the wait as part of the authentic local experience. Either way, the culinary delights that await are sure to make...

The location and view are good but the service at least for me was not . The waiter was good with tourists but as a moroccan i felt like i got treated badly . For example i asked a question about the tea served here cause its awful i told the waiter do you have mint or na3na3 he didn't even take the time to look at me and said straight no without even turning his head towards me and then walked off. While he approached some tourists and treated them with a smile and even talked to them in their language . And i was as kind as them i can...

As Moroccan as it gets. I lived in Essa 4+ years and we went at least once a week. Breakfast with sea views. Best place for a real Moroccan breakfast/lunch. Snack doesn't do it justice but Google doesn't allow for a more fitting description. Lovely bessara (fava bean soup), fried eggs, omelettes, mint tea, fresh orange juice and coffee. Different freshly baked breads with a choice of olive oil, butter, honey and a kind of 'peanut butter'. They also do lentils and some other dishes for lunch. A real Moroccan experience. Thank...
