By far the worst dining experience I ever had. Save yourself the time, the owner is purchasing fake reviews. I obviously misheard my Airbnb hosts recommendation. I should have known to turn around as soon as we walked into an empty dark dinning area. I'm writting this before the imminent food poisoning. Only had one option out of the whole menu, they didn't have any of the drinks on the menu. Despite the server reading the owners script about how I have all of these choices. Obviously frozen, this was disguised with some mooshy slop gravy. The desert was hard as a brick and inedible. The sparkling water was stale. The previously mentioned eccentric owner is a real deal, who spends his time "instructing" his employees as they cower. He theasks you how it was. I quickly said good and ran as quickly as possible seeing his look of delusional desperation. Everything comes in a pretty wrapper, a beautiful palace, well dressed staff, an upscale interior. But it completely misses the main ingredient of a good dinning experience. Good food. This is straight up something out of kitchen nightmares. Completely ruined my one night in Fes. I knew I should have gone Bourdain and just gotten the street...

Anyone in the street could see me as I walked up the stairs and down the hall. Once in the massage room i laid down but I could see the faint glow of a cellphone. The masseuse phone Rang mid massage and she answered it. The massage felt rushed after that.
I came up to the terrace bar for a post massage drink. Both wines available by the glass were poor choices. One had turned to vinegar and the other was extremely sour.
Service is slow and the place is quite empty. I'm not sure if it's the low season or what but given the place's design and ambiance I was...
Read moreNot casual but quite a fancy spot! We accidently strolled in because Google reviews stated it was a casual spot. Definitely not the case, seems like food looks really good and the people that were there were some African diplomats and people wearing suits. We ended up leaving as prices also were around 400 dirham for a full course meal which isn't too bad for what you get but still not exactly casual... More so for a special event or romantic date occasion not for tourists on a budget or students that...
