Great food, nice location, the best staff! Take a seat at the roof terrace and marvel the mild chaos in the street downstairs while having a coffee or mint tea in the morning, a lemon and mint juice with chicken sandwich for lunch and definitely the chicken pastilla (photo) and (alcohol free - of course) margarita cocktail at night. When you heard the muezzin of the Koutoubia mosque - which you can actually touch from the roof terrace if you're brave enough to lean over the edge that far - more than two times during your visit of KifKif, only then did you get the full experience. Did I mention the staff is great? Extremely friendly, they remember us when we came back after a few days. But that might be the result of the fact they adored our baby boy (seriously: we could enjoy lunch or dinner and lay back while they entertained our 1,5 year old toddler). Long story short: when on this side of Marrakech: go to Kif Kif!

Definitely worth!! Just the perfect place to have dinner, super central, nice staff, good food for not too expensive prices... Definitely something hard to find in Marrakesh, so absolutely recommended!! The view from the terrace is also lovely and they have a nice system to keep the whole place cool (with some humidity vaporizer) We spent 17euro for one thuna salad, one tajine with prunes and drinks. Both dishes were delicious. Problematic are only the seats, which are not exactly big or super comfortable. So don't expect to be in a restaurant with much room for yourself. This wasnt a problem for us though.

This place is so tasty! We were in Marrakesh for 4 days and came here twice because it was so good. It's a great mix of vegetarian/vegan dishes as well as meaty tajines and couscous all in the traditional moroccan style (despite it being owned and operated by french expats). There are 3 floors here, but be sure to grab a table on the top floor for a spectacular view of koutoubia square (go during sunset!). Very convenient location to eat before/after braving the Jemaa al-Fnaa square and souks!

During our trip we went to this restaurant three times, because we thought it’s nice and the food is good. But this was the last time we went there and won’t recommend anyone else to go here.

The waiters are really unfriendly and it seems that they don’t even know they own restaurant. We wanted to get a quick drink before we go to another location. We sat down and everything was ok, we ordered two drinks and then a group of people came and the waitress came and ask if we could go upstairs so they would have enough space, that was no problem.

After we went upstairs and there was only one table left the waitress spilled some wet food or soup on the table and cleaned it with a napkin, it was really disgusting because there was still rest food on the table and it was sticky and just really really disgusting. When he got the napkin he dropped a spoon on the ground and it seemed like that he would just give it to someone to eat.

The place mat was soggy and he just shaked it off and put it back on the table. Food on it, on the table and just really gross. Then another waitress came to us and asked if we wanted to eat because up there it is only for eat, but downstairs you could drink (the one who knew we don’t want to eat anything because we ordered our drinks with her), we said no and we said the guy said we should go up here, she ran to the stairs and yelled at the guy who told us to go upstairs, he then went upstairs and told us we can’t sit there. And then said it’s only eat everywhere. Why does she says it’s only food on the roof top and the other guy it’s only food everywhere?

And the seat which we left behind for the group was now taken and the guy was just rude and we left. I don’t recommend ANYONE to go here, we went somewhere else and now we can say that Cafè KifKif ist just overpriced, and not really comfortable, the chairs are so uncomfortable and seem to break. The tables are so small and disgusting you almost can’t even fit food and drinks on them. The toilet is really gross.

It doesn’t give you the real Moroccan feeling, so if you visit Morocco and want to have a authentic feeling, look for a different place. The bad reviews about this restaurant seem more likely to be true than the other ones. I would give 0/5 stars for...

Me and my family visited this place upon reading good reviews on Google. It took us long finding Cafe Kif-Kif as it has been renamed to Cafe Medina 2 weeks ago. So I was told on arrival that it has changed owners with the last newest review I can see is 3 weeks ago. So maybe that's why the food is not as good as other reviewers have mentioned.

We have been eating at different restraunts for lunch and dinner for the past 6 days. So been to 12 different restraunts around Gueliz and Medina.

The food here was the worst tasted food we have eaten. Small expensive potions. The first retaraunt that did not come with fries with the sandwiches. We have been given bread to eat at every restraunt, even the bread was the worst we have had, it was very hard, so I'm not sure is it left overs from the day before which was used for our ordered sandwiches too. The tagine was small potion with barely any veg and did not taste good compared to other restraunts.

We have eaten at restraunt that is higher and lower priced, this has to be the worst..

You are basically paying higher priced food, for not so good food just for the good views of the mosque cause we...

It looked so nice, but it kinda ruined our evening... We waited apx 20 mins for drinks, and more than 90 mins for our food. I regret coming here for the following reasons: 1) they forgot to inquire for our dinner choises, 2) after 90 mins my ordered food was placed at the table, the moment I took my fork and knife to start eating, they took the plate away because it was meant for another table. 3) people who arrived a lot! later, got their food earlier. 4) the waiter didn't speak or understand English. 5) there are no chairs, only stools. 6) a lady in our company got nauseous from the hunger so when finally the food arrived, she couldn't eat it. 6) The orange juice was a sugar bomb. 7) in a two hour stay they inquired just twice for drinks. 8) There was no real interaction between the waiter and us, which made us feel unwelcome. They were so hurried all the time! 9) I could get on like this, but you get the point.

For our displeasure they reduced the price, which I think...
