My fiancé and I had a wonderful stay at Hivernage Secret Suites. The staff were exceptionally attentive and warm throughout our 4 day visit.
What we loved: The hotel is incredibly peaceful and relaxing. We never heard any disturbing noise or unpleasant sounds. This was important for us, as it made it easy to rest well and decompress after busy days. Breakfast was lovely each morning, fresh and with various options. We also had lunch there once, and the food was very good. Our Junior Suite had a spacious balcony. While we didn’t use it much due to the heat, it was nice to have private outdoor space to enjoy in the evenings. The location is excellent. It was easy to get around with ride-share apps, and we could walk to the Medina (about a 20-minute stroll). Having a car was also convenient, as most places we visited were a 5–10 minutes drive away. The staff was excellent. From the housekeeping staff who kept our suite spotless, to the manager who greeted us every time we returned, everyone was friendly and clearly dedicated to making guests feel welcome and comfortable.
What could be improved: The room felt a bit dim at times and didn’t get much natural light. Adding more windows, or offering guests options for sunnier rooms, could help. The AC unit was leaking some water during the first two days. Once we reported it, the staff promptly brought in a technician to fix it, which we appreciated.
Overall, we’d rate Hivernage a 4.6/5. We would happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Marrakech looking for a quiet, serene, and luxurious place to stay.
Thank you to the entire Hivernage team for your kindness and...
Read moreThis is a boutique hotel with a lot of heart and soul. It’s not on a main road and it’s in a quite neighborhood. We stumbled on it totally by coincidence after leaving a large resort that didn’t deliver on the Moroccan experience.
My wife and I were in Morocco to finally have our wedding that was postponed due to covid. But back to the hotel, from the moment we stepped through their doors we were greeted with so much hospitality and immediately felt at home. Staying there with our guests was the best thing that happened to us on this trip. We were there with friends and family. The people of Hivernage Suites; Yassine, Hesham and Ayoub became our extended Moroccan family on this trip.
They truly elevated our experience in every way possible. No request was too small or too big. Our whole group has had so many fond memories and we intend to come back.
If you’re wondering about the food it’s great. They setup a special brunch for us and it was amazing. And we miss their daily breakfast. If you’re wondering about the rooms. Each has its own unique design and vibe. No two are alike.
If your goal is to be close to everything new and old. This is a great location. You won’t get the noise and crowds of the Medina. And it’s not a giant resort that lacks personal attention. The design of the place and how it’s maintained is top notch. I can’t say enough about the place except I look forward to going back. Much love to everyone at Hivernage Suites. Thanks...
Read moreThis place was a little gem, relaxing and tranquil away from the hustle and bustle of the Medina. What made it shine was the service received from all the staff here (shouts to Abdo, Ayub and Nashat) who were always on hand to help, or just to ask how you were. Nothing was too much for them, and the little conversations they sparked were nothing short of amazing.
We received a free upgrade, my only critisism of our room was that there was not much natural sunlight through the day, which made mornings hard to get up from the comfy bed.
The room service was thorough, and we always came back to a clean and well laid out room. The TV was cool, as they had a lot of international channels through Internet TV, although some were slightly less watchable.
The restaurant was ok, nothing special, and we found ourselves eating elsewhere most nights, but the breakfast was good (pancakes were very nice).
The serenity, peacefulness and staff attentiveness is what makes this hotel, I'd gladly...
