Le Fouquet's — Restaurant in Marrakesh Prefecture

My husband and I stayed at the hotel for a few nights. The 2nd night we decided to eat at the restaurant. I had the traditional Morrocon fish dish and originally my husband asked for the lamb shank. The waiter told us that they were out, so he got the mixed grilled meat. The food and service were excellent! The waiter told us that we could reserve the lamb shank for the following night, so we did. The next night, I ordered the Morrocon beef and my husband assumed he would have his lamb shank. Our reservation was at 8:00 pm. The waiter told us that the lamb shank would not be ready until 9:00 pm, so we told him we would wait. Next thing, we found out that the lamb shank was not available that night. Very disappointing, especially when you came there for a certain dish that was on the menu. He ended ordering lamb chops. Pour clôturer notre séjour à l’hôtel Naoura nous avons décidé de manger au Fouquet’s pour notre dernière soirée et quel bon choix nous avons fait!!!

Nous voilà à peine sortis du restaurant et nous nous demandons si nous avons rêvé ou si cette expérience gustative était vraiment réelle , tant elle nous a transporté!

TOUT, je dis bien absolument TOUT était exquis !!

Pour commencer nous avons pris une entrée à l’avocat et à la chair de crabe qui était tout bonnement divine.

Au niveau des plats principaux : l’assaisonnement et la cuisson de l’entrecôte étaient parfaits et les frites et la purée qui l’accompagnaient étaient justes fantastiques.

Ma Daurade saisie à l’huile d’olive avec des légumes verts était délicieuse et pour finir cette superbe expérience nous avons conclu le dessert avec 2 crèmes brûlées à l’argan succulentes!

De l’entrée au plat en allant jusqu’au dessert ce fût une expérience absolument merveilleuse que je recommande vivement à toute personne souhaitant passer un moment de qualité tout en dégustant une cuisine exquise.

Si un mot devait résumer cette soirée au sein du restaurant je dirais «  Raffinement   »

Un grand merci à Zakaria qui s’est occupé de notre table ce soir avec beaucoup de sympathie et de professionnalisme ainsi qu’à Ayoub pour ses explications , le personnel est ici clairement à l’image des plats du chef c’est à dire d’exception !!!

For our last night in Marrakech, we thought we would try this restaurant, located inside a 5 Star Hotel. The food was really tasty. Depending on your appetite, consider sharing dishes, as the portion sizes are adequate to feed two easily.
