A mediocre hotel at a great location. As a frequent traveler, writer of travel adventures, I enjoy spoiling myself with a great hotel. Based on several stories online, we selected La Madison Arabe as our stay in Marrakech. One Jr Suite with Patio (1 person ended up staying there) and 1 Royal Suite (for 4 people). Only because of the friendly staff, this hotel gets a 3 stars. I think the reviews and 5 star ranking that is often given is for the restaurant not the hotel part. The hotel is really very dated, the price is not. The rooms are stuffy and all the rugs in the room need a proper cleaning. The bathroom is dated and you can see that they are desperate for refurbishment. Unfortunately on the first day already the bathroom had black bugs crawling around. The hotel staff assured they would clean the room extra. The bugs I’ve not seen again, the rugs still need to be vacuumed. I selected a junior suite with patio. The patio is really nice, 2 seating options on opposite sides of terrace. The view is of one of the nice indoor spaces. The rooms are not too noisy, you can hear people but not to the extend that it is super annoying. A fresh bottle of water is complimentary in the room, daily. Coffee machine also available. Airco in room is not too loud, when turned on you will hear it but more of a soft hum. The price quality of this hotel is way off. The terrrace by the pool is not available for afternoon drinks, then only for restaurant visitors (even if you stay in hotel) Later we found out there is a modern part to the hotel, a separate area which is completely modern and clean. When we asked why we didn’t get a room there the reply was; better luck for you next time. We also did a cooking class. The cooking class would get 4/5 stars. Mr Mohammad is absolutely fabulous and turned it into a nice event. Our dishes came out perfect. Would I stay here again, definitely not. Friendly staff you can find everywhere in Marrakech and also much nicer hotels and riads at much better price. This hotel is def not a 5 star experience.

A True Marrakesh Gem! From the moment we arrived at La Maison Arabe, we were immersed in the charm, elegance, and warm Moroccan hospitality that Marrakesh is famous for. Ambience & Design: The hotel is a perfect blend of traditional Moroccan architecture and modern comfort. Every corner tells a story — from the intricate zellige tiles to the calming courtyards with their gentle fountains. The atmosphere is intimate yet vibrant, making it feel like a luxurious riad rather than a typical hotel. Rooms: Spacious, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully equipped. The plush bedding, quality toiletries, and authentic Moroccan décor made the stay both comfortable and culturally rich. The turndown service with little treats each evening was a lovely touch. Dining: The on-site restaurant is exceptional. Breakfast was fresh and varied — from Moroccan pancakes and dates to freshly baked bread and excellent coffee. Facilities: The pool and spa offer a peaceful escape from the bustling medina. The hammam experience is a must-try — professional, relaxing, and rejuvenating. Service: The staff truly set this hotel apart. Every team member was courteous, attentive, and eager to help with anything. Their warmth made us feel like valued guests, not just customers. Location: Perfectly situated — close enough to the medina to explore on foot, yet tucked away enough to provide a quiet retreat after a day in the busy souks. Overall: La Maison Arabe isn’t just a place to stay — it’s part of the Marrakesh experience. Highly recommended for travellers seeking authentic luxury. We would return without hesitation.

I can't recommend this place highly enough. By the end of our stay it truly felt like a home away from home. The Riad sits in a perfect location, slightly out of the craziness of the souks but just a short walk away. The entire staff was super welcoming and helpful, often going out of their ways to assist us. The rooms (we stayed two separate weekends) we both fantastic. Plenty of space, so much beautiful and intiricate art throughout the whole building. The food was fantastic. We loved having breakfast by the pool, eating delicious Moroccan pancakes with nutella and sipping coffee. We had dinner pool side and everything was A+ from service to the food. We were lucky enough to indulge in a hammam and massage while we were there. It was truly and out of body experience. Soo relaxing and just what the doctor ordered after walking around the souks all day. We had a blast at the cooking school, and are excited to try our hand at Moroccan food back home. Hasna was fantastic. Special shout out to Adil, the front desk manager. He was incredibly helpful the whole time we were there. From checking on our lost luggage with the airport, to arranging COVID tests pre-departure, to calling and making reservations and any restaurant we asked him to. The experience wouldn't have been the same without him. All in all, if you're considering stay here, do yourself a favor and book it! You will not regret it!

A flawless stay in a beautiful hotel, located just a short walk from all the busy streets and attractions in a very quiet area. We stayed for 4 nights in the height of summer and this hotel could not have been more perfect. The rooms, facilities and service were all immaculate and left us wanting to stay longer.

We arrived at the hotel early (before 11am) as we had taken a very early flight the same morning. We received a nice welcome drink and were given a tour of the hotel and its facilities by a very helpful staff member. We were then lucky enough to be able to access our room early. The ‘prestige double’ (seen it described elsewhere as a junior room) that we stayed in was perfect for us - spacious and with a nice sun-trapped terrace that we would probably have used more had it not been so hot. What was exceptional about the room was the service - it was beautifully cleaned and tidied multiple times each day when we were out. The standard of this was higher than you would expect and made for a very comfortable stay. There were no surprise charges, rather generous free toiletries, water, and even wine (which we actually didn’t drink but only as it was so hot and we didn’t feel like red wine at the time). Well-stocked minibar was also reasonably priced.

We chose to dine in the hotel on our first night and were not disappointed. The best part of the Trois Saveurs restaurant is its beautiful setting by the pool with traditional performers and tasteful lighting, however, the food was equally delicious. We had 3 courses and really enjoyed them all (not cheap but hotel restaurants rarely are). Again, the service was flawless. Breakfast is also served by the pool each day and was a real positive - huge range of hot and cold food and available as late as 11am which was useful.

We also made use of the hotel spa, which was a good experience whilst in Morocco. The highlight of the facilities was the country club, however, which really should be emphasised as it is a huge benefit of this hotel. Absolutely beautiful gardens and pool with a restaurant, drinks and service all day long. There are cabanas in the shade and loungers in the sun alike and the shuttle to the hotel and back is free and very convenient. We arranged to spend several hours here which I was very glad of and I would really recommend it.

Beyond all this, however, the thing that really makes this an exceptional hotel is the service. Dinner, breakfast, spa and housekeeping staff were all perfect. Reception staff were consistently helpful with recommendations, reservations, information about the hotel, and more. We felt we could have asked for anything and it would not have been any trouble (all staff also speak English as well as French and Arabic). La Maison Arabe is truly a fantastic hotel. There are other hotels in Marrakech that cost more and will surely not offer anything like this level of service. There has clearly been a careful consideration of how to create a perfect guest experience and this is flawlessly executed. It is no wonder that the hotel is able to advertise numerous accolades as it really is an excellent stay. We hope to return...

We arrived in the early afternoon from a long desert trip and were quickly taken down for a welcome drink, a walk around the hotel with a guide to show us all the different amenities and then up to our room which had a large basket of fruit, fresh flowers, and a complimentary bottle of wine. The room had a large king sized bed and sitting room with two TVs.

We booked the junior suite that had a large balcony overlooking the pool which I would highly recommend. The hotel has two restaurants, a jazz bar, spa, heated pool and sun terrace that can be used by all guests.

Welcome - 5/5 Staff was very welcoming, took our passports for copying and filled out our forms for us, which was a nice change from most other hotels in Morocco. A non-alcoholic mojito was given to us as we waited for our passports to be reviewed.

Bed & Linens- 5/5 The bed and linens were some of the best that we experienced in Morocco

Cleanliness - 5/5 Rooms were very clean and everywhere in the hotel seemed to be taken care of very well

Amenities - 5/5 heated pool, jazz bar, a Moroccan restaurant, International restaurant and spa.

Bang for your buck - 5/5 The hotel is quite expensive, but we found everywhere in Morocco to be very expensive, so this stay was right on par with the same level of hotel throughout Morocco.

Breakfast - 5/5 There is a large breakfast buffet every morning (which was included in our room but not included with all room stays). Pastries, cheese, nuts, yogurt, smoked salmon, strawberries, fresh juice, espresso, and even fresh cooked eggs from the counter by the pool.

Wifi - 3/5 Wifi seemed to cut in and out when we were in our room, but overall it worked most of the time. There is another wifi network available at the hotel, so you may need to get the password for it

English Language - 5/5 Everyone from front desk to wait, staff, spoke very...
