Do not reccomend; best avoided. I went here with a friend during a recent stay in Marrakesh. Ordered a lamb kofta which was double the price of a similar dish anywhere else in the city and was probably half the portion size, if not smaller. No bread given either. Listen, I wasn't expecting cheap prices when going to an eatery advertised as a rooftop kitchen, but at least the dish should have been of a reasonable quantity. If not the lower price should have reflected the smaller quantity. They are also very stingy with the bread, unlike almost every other restaurant in the city. Not accessible for those with a disability either. No parking. I explained all this to my hotel manager the next morning and he actually told me that he does not recommend this rooftop kitchen to his guests as apparently the rooftop green kitchen is owned and opened by an Australian and not a Moroccan local! Overall the place is a tourist trap and should be avoided when there are so many other authentic restaurants nearby which are both cheaper and give you a...
Read moreAbsolutely incredible experience, best meal we've had in Marrakech! I messaged the team on WhatsApp before coming to dine, as I have a lot of food allergies, including being allergic to the oil they usually cook with. They were so understanding and accommodating, even using a completely different oil just for my meal. It’s rare to find somewhere that takes allergies this seriously, and they went above and beyond to make sure I felt safe and included.
Not only was the food completely safe, it was delicious. Genuinely the best meal we’ve had during our time in Marrakech. The staff are super lovely, welcoming, and clearly care about their guests. Also a very cute ambience!
Highly recommend for anyone with dietary restrictions, they cater for vegan, gluten-free, soy-free, and all kinds of allergies with no fuss and great care. Can’t thank...
Read moreThis quaint rooftop has everything going for it. The menu was concise, but had enough options to for a varied meal (needless to say the falafels are a hit!). Even though the restaurant is (deservedly) so highly-rated on Google Reviews, it was very peaceful upon arrival and the waiters saw to it that we were taken care of the whole evening.
The terrace had a homely feeling to it, with the chef coming out to serve the food and introduce herself and the waiting staff providing blankets to keep us warm whilst we ate on the rooftop. A special thank you goes to the amazing waiter Salah. In addition to being friendly and welcoming, he had a full knowledge of the menu and gave us excellent recommendations on what to eat, all of which we...
