Disappointing meal here.
The restaurant itself is very nice, and is decorated well. The rooftop has a nice chill vibe.
The service was slow, the main issue was that I am vegetarian and have not eaten meat in over 17 years. I ordered the vegetarian fajitas and was served 'vegetarian tacos', I took a bite to discover that they contained fish. I told the waiter that my taco had fish inside, and he said no it does not, only guacamole. I insisted that they did contain fish, he then took this to the kitchen to check and they confirmed the tacos were fish tacos. In the meantime, I was served fajitas which clearly contained chicken, I again told the waiter that they were not vegetarian and was told they had no meat and were vegetarian. Again these were taken away to the kitchen and the waiter apologised and said there had been a mistake, the tacos did contain fish and the fajitas did contain chicken.
Both items I ordered were labelled as vegetarian on the menu, and neither items listed meat as an ingredient. The reason that I decided to come to the restaurant was because they had the allergens listed on their menu - this is clearly not correct. This could have been fatal to someone with an allergy.
I was soon after served my nachos with guacamole which I did eat, and they were tasty. I told the waiter I did not want the vegetarian tacos anymore as I was put off by being served meat twice. The manager came to ask why I did not want them as they were ready, I explained that I did not want to eat them due to the previous situation. The manager seemed very annoyed about this.
I had to ask for the vegetarian fajitas to be removed from bill, as this was not offered by the restaurant. We paid for the rest of the bill, without issue.
The waiter was very apologetic, but the manager seemed very annoyed about the situation and was not happy that I did not want to eat the fajitas.
Overall poor experience and I am very sad about eating meat after being vegetarian for so long, and it was disappointing that the manager was not...
Read moreCame in excited to finally have an authentic Mexican place in Marrakech—especially as someone avid about authentic Mexican food. The social-media hype and those “Marrakech Best Of” lists had me hopeful, but in my view the experience didn’t match the buzz; many raves now read more like promotional/influencer content. The food looked the part (tostadas, tacos), yet execution and flavor fell short for me. The taco meat—usually soft and tender—tasted tough, almost as if reheated, and overall felt extremely overpriced; the quantity–quality balance didn’t work for us. The restaurant is beautiful (though a bit hard to reach). Servers and bartenders were genuinely kind and tried their best. For payment, we were asked to go downstairs and recite our order to a manager; it felt awkward, and a simple “How was everything?” would’ve helped, especially since we were the only guests and had that confused look of disappointment. As a business owner and avid foodie, it felt like looks and branding outpaced the kitchen and deeper Mexican technique. We left let down. This is my personal opinion based on a single visit, and I hope it’s a wake-up call to tighten the food and overall experience—maybe just...
Read moreA brand-new spot in Marrakech — and truly a hidden gem when it comes to interior design.
We ordered a non-alcoholic grapefruit-based drink, shrimp, tacos, and tiramisu. Originally, we planned to go for the ceviche, but after noticing that the waiters didn’t seem entirely confident in distinguishing between some of the dishes (which, in our opinion, they definitely should know well — something to fix easily), we decided not to risk it. In hindsight, it was probably unnecessary caution, because the chef delivered some fantastic plates.
The place is run by a French team and clearly caters mostly to a French-speaking clientele, but the service was very friendly and welcoming nonetheless.
The price of the non-alcoholic drink was a bit over the top. At 100 MAD, it felt like a fancy grapefruit juice.
Overall, a beautiful new addition to the Marrakech dining scene — definitely worth visiting for the design...
