Marjana terrasse restaurant — Restaurant in Marrakesh Prefecture

Absolutely the worst food in 20 years vacationing in Marrakech. I ordered a beef tangia, and I have been eating this dish for years. What I received was a blob of beef fat with 2 tiny cubes of beef, which also tasted rancid! (140 dirhams) I also ordered the mixed Moroccan salad which for the moderate price of 90 dirhams included a tiny portion of eggplant salad, white rice, boiled potato’s, and plain beets. The icing on the cake was once we were ready to pay, the girl told us that to pay by card they apply. 2,8% surcharge for paying by card for commission. Absurd and absolutely unheard of! Obviously I refused to pay the surcharge, also considering the absolutely disgusting g food served to us. DO NOT EAT HERE. There are plenty of amazing, cheaper, and delicious places to eat in Marrakech where the quality of the food is incredible....

We had rotten eggs in our tagine! It was frightening. The manager or owner got really aggressive when we said we were not paying and had to leave. We felt frightened and threatened. And had to pay. So so wrong. On so many levels.

Dreadful food and an awful experience with staff. The only place I have found in this beautiful city to keep well away from . Over priced. Poor quality and tasteless food. Before we found a rotten egg that smelt so bad!!

Please trust me, I am so honest and I am a regular reviewer! I love great restaurants and good food.

The service at the table was horrible. They did not speak any English and needed to get other staff to talk to us.

We ordered couscous and it tasted like there wasn’t any spices in it plus it was very dry - it was served with a small bowl of soup which tasted like water with a hint of tomato.

Overall most of the staff wasn’t very friendly nor accommodating which is very uncommon in Morocco. We’ve eaten couscous elsewhere in Morocco and know how a good dish taste. In addition to that our waiter was very annoyed when leading to our table for some reason.
