Café Square — Restaurant in Marrakesh Prefecture

We decided to dine in this place due to it's position and the good reviews given. We also got stopped by a guy who explained us the menu and told us we could order lamb too, that we were looking for.

Service was bad and rude, and we were told that there was no lamb in their menu. I tried to explain her I was told differently by the other guy both in English and French but shy said she didn't understand.

The worst part was at the cash desk where we asked to pay by card. They told us it was not possible which was unexpected so we took a little. When I came back to pay I the man was really rude by slamming the change on the desk without any word.

We ordered Tanjia marrakechia, Tajin de poulet avec citrons et olives and their Cous Cous. Food was good overall though cous cous was really dry and without any sauce given....

Visited Cafe Square in the heart of Jama Al Fana, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. The friendly gentlemen remembered us from the day before and kindly found us a great place to sit. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food, which was fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. The service was attentive and welcoming, making us feel valued and looked after.

Friendly service, decent menu. Kitchen is operated in the basement, you will pass through it on the way to the toilet. Cleanliness is average to this area, which means it clearly could be better. Couscous with vegetables was good, could have used maybe a bit more spices. Waitress on the street are pushy and want to lure you in, but they all are in that region.
