Don’t bother eating at Jamaa El Fna market; just come here!!! My wife and I went here twice while in Marrakesh. Once on our way through to Agafay and once on our last night in Morocco (tonight). In that time we had: Minced meat tagine Heart and livers Mixed grill Beef tagine Rice Chips. Sauces/olives/bread Cannot fault any of it. Price was good. Speed of service was quick, you can see all the food is prepared on sight with their butcher and then grilled on charcoal to perfection. Portion size was perfect for us and the service and friendliness of staff was incomparable. They don’t even need to ask you how you like your meat because these people know how meat should be cooked. We received a recommendation from our guide that the 5 restaurants that were on the left side of Rue Bani Marine was frequently visited by locals and tourists alike. We chose this restaurant over the others based on the google reviews. Unfortunately, we left a bit disappointed.

We ordered 2 dishes:

Merguez sausages - inconsistent seasoning mixed into sausages. Some bites were bland, others had the perfect amount of seasoning. Good smoke flavoring throughout though.

Beef and vegetable tajine - It was too oily for our taste. The seasoning of beef is good, but our tajine only came with 3 small pieces. I suggest adding more beef to make a better balance with the amount of vegetables in the dish (they provide a lot of vegetables) . I realize this would increase the cost, but I would have paid more for this balance and would have enjoyed...

This place left me with the warmest and most positive memories of the country's cuisine. The food was simply delicious, each dish bursting with flavor and aroma. The prices were very reasonable.

The atmosphere in the restaurant was very local, and the staff was professional and friendly. Although there was a queue for the restaurant - what means much, but it moved very quickly, and we didn't have to wait long to be seated.
