Moncho's House cafe — Restaurant in Marrakesh Prefecture

Good café but we've been told we can't play a board game that we brought and that's an internal policy.

I've never heard of such a rule at a café before. I would understand if we had spent 3 hours there playing and they come in and say that, but we haven't spent more than 30min in the café including playing our game.

I guess they want to appear like a classy café and our board game doesn't belong, but what's next? A dress code ? Discriminatory policies ?

It looks like they're good at setting rules, but illegally taking over the public side walk for their terrace doesn't seem to bother...

The waiters are the most attentive guys I met in Morocco so far, even comparing with 5-star hotel in Casablanca.

The food is fine, nothing amazing. I has Croque Madame and it was served together with fries. I would prefer some vegetables salad instead.

The atmosphere was okeish, disturbed by the TV where the staff was watching some football. Would be more suitable to put some light music on background, something like jazz.

Overall it is nice place with good prices, amazing staff...

Worst experience of Iftar in ramadan . Messy Chaotic Staff not disciplined ( not professionnel enough to solve critical situations Staff seemed stressed and work under pressure . As a client .felt no warm welcome . Not good value for money . Ftour value is worth 50 dhs not 95 dhs .
