We had high expectations for this place since it’s number 1 on TripAdvisor. The space was hidden and gorgeous with a lovely ambiance. Their gyoza is a must try very delicious. The rest of the food was ok would rate 7/10. But what ruined it for us was the service. So much arrogance in the air especially from our waiter who barely came to check on us unless he had to. We had to ask for shared plates during the starter and after they took our plates away and brought our mains we sat there for 5 mins and had to ask again for our plates so we could start eating. This is WITH the waiters walking past our table and seeing that we were waiting. To top it off after we paid the bill the same waiter came over and told my husband that service was not inside the bill (his way of asking for tips). We are quite chilled people but the basic etiquette and manners was just not there. Being a bit more humble with your guests will go a long way as everything else was lovely. We have tipped in every single place we have been to except this one for good reason.

After going around Morocco for a 10 days from different cities we came back to Marakech to catch our flight so we're only here for 2 nights. We ended up here for both nights as it's a very nice chilled atmosphere. Food was amazing as they have Moroccan dishes, european and some Asian influences. Drinks are great as they have a lot of options and the service was pure Moroccan hospitality 👌(They speak French, English and Arabic ) We will definitely come back! Our first night we had their starters platter and it was delicious with cocktails and beers. On our second night we had their lamb shank which came with rice and salmon that came with salad. (You can choose which side you want to accompany some main dishes and there is a great variety of choice). They also have these amazing sprayers that sprays water in their garden area every minute to keep you cool under the Moroccan heat!

After checking almost all other bars in this area on google, this bar seemed to be the perfect place for me and my lady. (34 and 31 y.o.) We did a last-minute reservation for a table for two on the terrace. The bar was 15 minutes on foot from our place in gueliz so we walked. Right from the entrance you see the organized well-dressed staff. The ambient decorations matched exactly our expectations. The terrace was cozy (for my taste a bit small) with beautiful modern orient lounges and hanging lightbulbs. The atmosphere was alive with great house music. We ordered „morocco mule“ cocktails, which matched the vibes perfectly and tasted heavenly. Our food tasted well and the prices were reasonable. Great experience overall and would definitely recommend it. P.S. alcoholic beverages were not served after midnight due to beginning of the first month of islamic calendar „Muharram“.

I visited this restaurant after seeing it ranked as the number one spot on TripAdvisor, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype. The food was just okay—nothing stood out, and I’ve had much better meals in Marrakesh. The atmosphere was disappointing, primarily because people were smoking inside, which made it hard to enjoy the experience. The smell of smoke overpowered everything else. Overall, not what I expected from a top-rated establishment.

EDIT (responding to restaurant): My review wasn’t about expecting a high-end dining experience but rather about my personal experience during my visit. While I understand that smoking is allowed in restaurants in Morocco, I was not aware of this beforehand. If I had known, I likely would not have visited, as the smell of smoke significantly impacted my ability to enjoy the atmosphere.

As for the food, my comments were an honest reflection of my expectations after seeing your high ranking and the glowing reviews that led me to visit. Naturally, rankings create certain expectations, and my feedback was intended to provide balance for...

From the moment we arrived at Point Bar, we were treated to truly exceptional service. The staff were incredibly attentive—anticipating our every need before we even had to ask. They noticed the sun getting a little low and, without a word from us, discreetly adjusted the blinds just enough to keep us perfectly comfortable.

The food was absolutely delicious. The lamb shank, in particular, was melt-in-your-mouth tender and bursting with flavor—easily one of the best we’ve ever had.

To top it all off, a member of the staff took the time to come over and entertain our children with a few card tricks. He was fantastic—a real magician—and the kids were completely captivated.

It was a beautiful blend of warmth, professionalism, and charm. Point Bar delivers more than just a meal—it offers a truly memorable experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this venue to anyone...
