As soon as we got to the hotel at 11:00pm, the first thing we were asked was to pay the "hotel tax" no welcome or anything. It took them 2 hours to finally check us into our rooms and when we did, the door handle to get in and out of the room was broken and the bedroom lights weren't working. After getting moved to another room, we noticed the toilet didn't flush and the shower head was broken, the fridge in our room was broken and only got fixed 4 days into our stay. |Myself and two other stayed for 7 nights and it was nothing like the pictures they show online. Both mangers night & day were very rude and looked down on anyone who couldn't speak either French or Arabic.|On one of the nights we decided to go to the rooftop bar to relax and unwind and was told by the one of the staff members that if we didn't order up to a certain amount then we would be told to leave even if we lived at the hotel. |The room card would constantly stop working and we would have to go down to reception and get it sorted every time. The lifts would take at least 3-5 minutes to come once called, the lift call buttons for certain floors didn't work. The breakfast selection was very poor, not worth getting up for imo. |On the last day of our stay, the male manager got really aggressive and said we hadn't paid our "hotel tax" and asked us all to bring out confirmation emails and passports to reception. We tried speaking to him and telling him that we paid the day we checked in and he was the one we paid the "hotel tax" too but to no avail. He kept saying "no English in this hotel" trying to imply that we should only speak French/Arabic. We was made to pay the "hotel tax" again before we left. Would stay well clear...

During check-in, I paid the tourist tax in cash to the receptionist, Hassan, who promised to provide a receipt during check-out. However, no receipt was given, and I was told to collect it later. This was just the beginning of our problems.
The room assigned to us had no door lock, and the washroom was bare – no jar, no jet spray, nothing. We complained, and after some reluctance, they provided another room. But this one had a non-functional AC. On the first day alone, I had to complain four times, and it took three hours to get a somewhat decent room. However, it wasn't even clean to standard.
But the struggle didn't end there. The check-in card for the room didn't work, so I had to call someone to open the door for me every time I wanted to enter. This was frustrating and unacceptable.
On the day of check-out, I asked for the receipt for the tourist tax, which I had paid in cash during check-in. To my surprise, the hotel refused to provide it. This lack of transparency and accountability was appalling.
The service was poor, and the staff seemed uninterested in resolving our issues. The hotel's infrastructure was in disrepair, and the management's attitude was dismissive.
In conclusion, our experience at this hotel was a nightmare. The hotel failed to provide basic amenities, and the service was subpar. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and would advise others to look elsewhere for a comfortable and hassle-free stay.

Read moreTerrible experience! I have never encountered such an appalling excuse for a 4-star hotel in my life. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this place is a total fraud—misleading advertising, unprofessional staff, filthy rooms, and nonexistent service.
Reception & Staff – Rude, Unprofessional, and Indifferent Upon arrival, the receptionist couldn’t even be bothered to pause her conversation with a colleague while checking us in. She handed us keys to a room that was clearly occupied—crumpled bedsheets, used towels on the floor, as if someone had just slept there. When we returned to report this, she LAUGHED in our faces and continued chatting as if we were an inconvenience.
The Room – Dirty, Broken, and Neglected The second room they gave us wasn’t much better. The sink was clogged, the bathroom flooded, and the promised iron? Never arrived, despite multiple requests. We waited 20 minutes the next morning just to be ignored again. The in-room phone didn’t work, so we had to go downstairs every time we needed something—which, of course, no one cared to provide.
"Facilities"
Internet? Works when it feels like it (which is almost never).
Heating? Forget it—freezing cold hallways and indifferent staff.
Basic maintenance? Nonexistent.
Overall – A Complete Scam This hotel is a disgrace to the hospitality industry. The staff is lazy, disrespectful, and utterly unprofessional, the rooms are filthy and poorly maintained, and the so-called "4-star service" is a blatant lie. Save your money—stay anywhere else. This place doesn’t deserve a single guest.
