I am absolutely thrilled with my lunch at Amal, a women-run social enterprise restaurant located in Marrakesh’s Ville Nouvelle. The garden setting is meticulously designed, from the Arabic calligraphy painted on the walls to the stunning cedar tree at the center of the patio. The menu changes daily and always includes at least one vegetarian option. Each dish is carefully crafted, blending Moroccan tradition with a modern twist.

The glazed vegetables (60DH) were perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor, while the goat cheese salad (65DH) left me speechless: the nut-crusted goat cheese paired beautifully with the avocado cream, which was artfully piped onto the plate. The kitchen’s attention to detail is evident in touches like the basil oil used to dress the side salad.

The vegetable tagine, reminiscent of a ratatouille in the way the vegetables were sliced, was generous and delicious. Even the desserts didn’t disappoint: the molten chocolate cake (35DH) with caramel had a gooey center worthy of "food porn," and the lemon cake (40DH) was equally delightful.

I also highly recommend the homemade mint lemonade, which was refreshingly zesty. The waitresses were friendly and professional, and they accept card payments. Supporting a project like this is well worth the trip. I’ll be recommending it...

I had the pleasure of dining at Amal Restaurant in Marrakech, and it was an unforgettable experience. This incredible establishment is run by a group of amazing women, and their passion and dedication shine through in every aspect of the restaurant.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making you feel right at home the moment you step in. The decor is charming and authentic, perfectly reflecting the spirit of Marrakech.

The food is absolutely phenomenal. Each dish is prepared with love and care, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. From the savory tagines to the delightful appetizers, every bite was a delight. The ingredients were fresh, and the traditional recipes were executed to perfection.

What truly sets Amal Restaurant apart, though, is the inspiring mission behind it. The women running this place are not only incredible chefs but also strong, empowered individuals making a positive impact in their community. Their dedication to providing opportunities and support to women in need is truly commendable.

Overall, dining at Amal Restaurant was a heartwarming and delicious experience. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Marrakech. It's a place where you can enjoy exceptional food while supporting an incredible cause. Can't...

A Gastronomic Gem Empowering Women Amal is a truly special place, run exclusively by women, and it offers an experience that goes beyond just great food. Having lunch here was an absolute delight, combining a warm atmosphere with impeccable service. The food is not only delicious but also reasonably priced, making it an excellent value for the quality provided. The menu is thoughtfully curated, showcasing the best of Moroccan flavors with a touch of love and care in every bite. If you’re in the area, Amal is well worth a visit. It’s open only for lunch, so plan accordingly. Just 10 minutes’ drive away from Jama El Fna, this hidden gem is worth the short drive. Supporting Amal means not just enjoying an amazing meal but also contributing to an inspiring initiative empowering women in Marrakesh. Highly recommended for a memorable and meaningful...
