My fiancee and I visited for sunset drinks in early March. Having been once before by myself where I paid for the most expensive coke in my life I knew it would be pricey but hoped for a good experience nonetheless for some casual drinks under the setting sun.
This hope was found wanting. Upon arrival there was a fairly chaotic vibe such was the busyness. We were however eventually escorted to, not a table, but to a circular poolside sofa, awkwardly squeezed in between two groups. It wasn't the most welcoming or comfortable of arrangements. The waitress left without a word or any kind of menu being given.
My fiancee was immediately unsettled by this set up, but I wanted to wait a while to see what would happen and what the service would be like.
I would like to say we then received attentive service but we were ignored for the next 15 minutes. No menu, no check in, no ability to order anything. As I looked around I noted many other patrons in a similar boat. I then also spotted the waitress who originally found us our seating spot was struggling to locate another open spot for a new pair of guests who had just arrived.
After 20 minutes of basically sitting and waiting like lemons, we got up and left, which promptly opened up our space for those new guests to fill, much to the relief of the same waitress who was oblivious as to what happened to us and why we were exiting so soon. How ironic.
Rather than attend to the needs and wants of everyone already there, this place, while benefiting from beautiful views and a gorgeous design, is the biggest let down in all of Marrakech, trading on it's superficial position and vantage alone. Believe the poor reviews. The management and approach of this place needs a drastic overhaul.
Come for the views by all means, just walk around the rooftop a couple times and walk out. You just got 100% of the positive and saved 100% of the expensive...
Read moreWe recently had dinner at Nobu Marrakech's rooftop restaurant and it was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted warmly by the staff, setting the tone for an unforgettable dining experience.
Tarik, the manager, deserves special recognition for his outstanding service. His expertise and passion for hospitality were evident as he guided us through the menu, offering insightful recommendations that perfectly complemented our preferences. His attention to detail ensured that every aspect of our meal was flawless. I had the seabass and my partner had the lobster linguine, they were both easily the best meals we had in Marrakech- Tarik can take full credit for the suggestions! I’d also add that the Medallion white wine is really nice and you don’t need to order the most expensive bottle on the menu.
Our waiter, Marovawe, was an absolute delight. His genuine warmth and attentiveness made us feel incredibly welcome, adding to the inviting atmosphere of the restaurant. His recommendations were spot-on and he left us with some lasting memories.
The rooftop setting provided a picturesque backdrop for our dinner, adding to the charm and sophistication of the evening. The addition of live dancers and a DJ truly elevated the experience, bringing a unique energy and ambiance to Marrakech that isn't found anywhere else.
I’d also add a special note to the toilet attendant whom I am embarrassed to say that I cannot remember his name. He was really nice and we spent some time chatting about his love for football (although his team weren’t doing too well).
Overall, our experience surpassed all expectations. The combination of impeccable service, fantastic foods, and captivating entertainment makes it a must-visit destination for anyone visiting the city.
We can't wait to return and indulge in another memorable...

The first thing that captivated me was the breathtaking panoramic views of the city and the majestic Atlas Mountains. The setting is nothing short of spectacular, making it an ideal spot for those seeking an unforgettable experience.
The ambiance at the rooftop is enhanced by the great music that sets the perfect tone for a relaxing yet lively atmosphere. The pool is a standout feature, providing a refreshing escape while soaking in the incredible surroundings. Whether you're there to unwind or be part of the social scene, The Rooftop Garden offers an excellent vibe that caters to both.
One of the highlights is the international menu, which truly caters to epicureans. The diverse selection ensures there's something for every palate. I highly recommend trying the Pastilla Trois Temps and Tangia Marrachia – two dishes that showcase the culinary excellence this place has to offer.
Access to the rooftop is convenient, with direct entry from the streets or through the hotel. This accessibility adds to the overall convenience and makes it a go-to destination for locals and visitors alike.
I must commend the top-notch service provided by the staff, particularly Tarik Artiba and Kacem Belgana. Their attention to detail and friendly demeanor contributed significantly to my positive experience.
